The Blood of Dawnwalker: How to Get the Ring of Quick Strikes

The legendary damage ring sits behind a locked tomb door west of Rockfalls, and the key is a short walk away.

The Ring of Quick Strikes is one of the stronger straight-damage accessories in The Blood of Dawnwalker, stacking weapon damage, critical hit chance, and critical hit damage on a single slot. It is not sold, crafted, or dropped by an enemy. It sits in a chest behind a locked door, and the whole trip takes only a few minutes once you know where the key is.

Quick answer: Start The Highland Grave at Rockfalls, enter the tomb to the west, grab the key from the skeleton pinned under a cart at the landslide site down the road, then loot the chest in the locked inner chamber.

Start The Highland Grave quest at Rockfalls

The chest room only opens up as part of The Highland Grave, so the quest has to be running before the trip is worth making.

Travel to Rockfalls and find the destroyed shrine. A skeleton lies a few paces away from it.
Investigate the skeleton. That single interaction starts The Highland Grave and places the objective marker on your map.

Open the map and head west of Rockfalls. The tomb is set into the mountainside, and the road there is short enough to cover on foot.

Talk your way past the Uriashi at the tomb entrance

Walking up to the tomb door triggers a conversation before you get inside. The dialogue is the gate here, not combat.

Approach the tomb entrance and let the scene with the Uriashi play out.
Pick the line “I’m friends with the uriashi.” That reply gets you waved through peacefully and lets you walk into the ruin without a fight.
Move through the first room and look for the sturdy door leading to the inner chamber. It is locked, and nothing inside the tomb opens it, so leave it for now and head back out.

Find the key at the landslide site down the road

The key is not hidden in the tomb at all. It sits with a corpse at a collapsed stretch of road a short distance away, which is the part most players miss and the reason the door gets written off as scenery.

Open the map again and follow the road away from the tomb until you reach the landslide site marked in the hills.

Look for the overturned cart in the rubble. A skeleton is trapped underneath it.

Open the inner chamber chest and confirm the drop

Return to the tomb with the key and unlock the sturdy door. The quest tracker switches to “Search the inner chamber” once the door gives way, which is your confirmation that the key worked and the room is now open.

Loot the chest inside. It hands over the Ring of Quick Strikes along with the Ancient Hero’s Talisman, a master-tier amulet, so it is worth clearing the room fully before you leave. Both pieces land straight in your inventory and need to be equipped from the accessory slots.

Note: If the door still refuses to open, you are missing the key from the landslide corpse, not a quest step inside the tomb. Nothing else in the ruin unlocks it.

Ring of Quick Strikes stats and effects

The ring is a Legendary accessory that weighs 0.10 and carries a value of 1,010. Its bonuses are all multipliers, so it scales with whatever weapon and perks you are already running rather than adding a flat number. The exact percentages differ between rolls, so read the tooltip on your own copy before you compare it against another ring.

PropertyValue
TypeRing
RarityLegendary
Weight0.10
Cost1,010
Critical hit damage+7.5% to +10.5%
Critical hit chance+5% to +7%
Melee weapon damage+8% to +11.2%
Physical damage reductionUp to +3%

Because the crit chance and crit damage bonuses sit on the same ring, it pays off hardest on fast sword builds that already land a lot of hits per exchange. Its flavor text sums up the intent plainly enough.

Strike fast, strike hard, strike with satisfaction.

Alternate chest in Maragir Wealds

There is a second spot where the ring turns up, in the south of Maragir Wealds. Head to the large altar there and look for the point of interest facing it. Activating the Astral Communion causes a chest to drop right beside the altar, and the Ring of Quick Strikes is inside it.

Since time advances every time you take on a quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker, The Highland Grave is a cheap detour for what you get out of it. One skeleton, one conversation, one key, and a legendary ring plus a master amulet for the trouble.
