Every objective for the Providence Island festival mission, from dousing the stage fire to beating Willy Ruler and claiming the legendary grenade mod.

Every objective for the Providence Island festival mission, from dousing the stage fire to beating Willy Ruler and claiming the legendary grenade mod.

A Festivus for the Electivus is a side mission on Providence Island, tied to the FL4K and the Lost Resort content, and it plays out less like a shootout and more like a concert production job with a boss fight bolted onto the end. You repair a burning stage in the Bagheera Range, advertise the show in another zone, round up holographic crowd bots, then protect the whole thing from Tediore when the music starts.

Quick answer: Talk to 4ROWS in the Bagheera Range, put out the stage fire by shooting the overhead pipes, test the stage systems, hang the Lyt Fest Poster in The Upper Crust, collect three crowd projector bots from the Tediore Outpost in the Vinechoked Canopy, start the concert, survive the Tediore waves, kill Willy Ruler, and take a bow on stage to claim the Booming Spaghettifying EXPLODER grenade mod.

Mission details and starting location

The mission marker sits in the Bagheera Range, right next to the stage that is on fire when you arrive. Everything after the first objective sends you across multiple zones, so expect fast travel.

Get the stage working in the Bagheera Range

Head to the burning stage in the Bagheera Range and speak to 4ROWS. The Talk prompt appears once you are close enough, and accepting the mission immediately hands you the fire as your first problem.

Look up. The pipes running above the stage hold water, and shooting them releases it onto the flames. Put rounds into each pipe section until the fire is fully out.

Use the control console beside the stage to run the system checks. You test the lights, the pyrotechnics, and the music in sequence, and the mission will not advance until all three have fired.
Climb the stack of crates near the stage and pick up the Lyt Fest Poster. That poster is the item you carry into the next zone, so grab it before you fast travel.

Promote the festival in The Upper Crust

The Promote the Festival objective has two parts in the same area, and both are marked. Fast travel to FL4K’s Sanctum in The Upper Crust to reach them.

Find the highlighted wall and mount the festival poster on it. The interaction point is small, so line up with the marker rather than the general wall.
Walk over to the pool area and use the microphone there to make the promotional announcement. Wait for the announcement dialogue to finish before moving on, since the objective only clears at the end of it.

Collect the three crowd projector bots in the Vinechoked Canopy

An empty venue is the next obstacle, and the fix is a trio of holographic audience projectors sitting in Tediore hands. Travel to the Tediore Outpost in the Vinechoked Canopy and clear enough space to loot them.

Work through the outpost and pick up all three crowd projector bots. They are spread across the site and each one is marked, so sweep the whole outpost before leaving.

Return to the festival grounds in the Bagheera Range and deploy the bots at their placement points. Once all three are active, a holographic audience fills the space in front of the stage.

Start the concert and hype the crowd

Interact with the stage console again to trigger the show. A hologram of Miss E. Queen spawns and the performance begins.
Pick up the Microphone of Audience Power on the stage and perform. Crouching and jumping count as stage actions, and repeating them builds the crowd’s energy.

Note: the microphone is what makes the performance objective tick, so keep it in hand instead of swapping back to a weapon mid-set.

Defend the stage and kill Willy Ruler

Tediore crashes the show shortly after the music starts. Soldiers push in on foot while drones harass from above, and the fight stays centered on the stage and the ground directly around it.

Clear the incoming waves. Drones are the bigger threat to your position because they attack from angles the stage structure does not cover, so prioritize them when they appear.
When the objective changes to killing Willy, focus the boss. Willy Ruler fights inside a mech suit, which means a large health pool and slower, telegraphed movement you can circle around.

With the boss down, step back onto the stage and take a bow. That final interaction is what closes the mission, and skipping it leaves the objective hanging.

Reward: Booming Spaghettifying EXPLODER grenade mod

The bow triggers the completion screen and the legendary grenade mod drops as the mission reward. It is a singularity-style grenade, pulling enemies in before it detonates, with explosive damage on the payload.

How to tell an objective has not registered

The mission gates hard at a few points, and each one has an obvious visual confirmation. If the tracker has not moved on, one of these is usually the reason.

Stuck onWhat to check
Stage fireAll overhead pipes shot and the flames fully extinguished, not just reduced
System testLights, pyrotechnics, and music each triggered from the console
Promote the FestivalPoster mounted on the marked wall and the pool microphone announcement finished
Holographic crowdAll three projector bots collected and deployed at the festival grounds

Run the whole thing in one sitting if you can. Because the mission moves you between the Bagheera Range, The Upper Crust, and the Vinechoked Canopy, the travel is the longest part, and the actual combat only shows up once the concert is underway.
