Update 1.5 landed in Dungeon Lootr on September 12, 2026 at 20:00 UTC, the intermediate patch between Update 1 and Update 2, and it arrived alongside an Admin Abuse Event that handed out free rewards to players who were online. The patch is less about new dungeons and more about fixing the two places where loot used to go to die: upgraded gear you no longer use, and good gear with bad base stats. It also adds a timed damage competition and two new classes.
Quick answer: Dismantle upgraded gear at the Forge to get back 40% of the upgrade materials as ingots, spend Stars at the Appraisal NPC to reroll an item’s base stats (leave anything above 90% quality alone), and talk to Hollow Kage to enter the Solo or Duo Tournament, where you have five minutes to stack as much boss damage as possible.
What Update 1.5 added
| Addition | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dismantling | Breaks down upgraded equipment at the Forge and returns 40% of its upgrade materials as ingots |
| Appraisal | Rerolls the base stats on a piece of gear in exchange for Stars |
| Solo and Duo Tournament | Five-minute damage events run through the Hollow Kage NPC, with leaderboard rewards |
| New classes | Sinister Trigger (Exotic) and Embertide Dragoon |
| Magic Unleashed event | The First Test raid on Normal, Extreme and Impossible, with weekend drop bonuses |
Dungeon Lootr is ClickBytes’ extraction-style dungeon ARPG, and it ships a patch most Saturdays. You can pick it up from the Dungeon Lootr experience page on Roblox if you are starting from zero.
Dismantling gear at the Forge to recover ingots
Every upgrade you pour into a weapon or accessory used to be locked in forever. Dismantling changes that. Feed an upgraded item into the Forge and you get back 40% of the materials you sank into it, returned as ingots that match the item’s tier, so a heavily invested Celestial piece comes back as Celestial Ingots and an Exotic piece comes back as Exotic Ingots.

Note: dismantling pays out upgrade materials, not the gear itself, and it only returns part of what you spent. It is a way to recycle retired gear into your current best-in-slot, not a free respec on Forge investment. Forge upgrades themselves can still fail, so the ingot trickle matters more than it sounds.
Appraisal: rerolling base stats with Stars
Appraisal is the other half of the gear economy. Instead of touching upgrade levels, it rerolls the base stats an item rolled when it dropped, and it charges Stars to do it. That makes an otherwise perfect drop, like a Demon’s Eye Ring with the wrong spread, salvageable.
The important rule is knowing when to stop. If an item’s quality score is already above 90%, leave it. Rerolling is not a one-way ratchet, so a high roll can come back worse, and you will have burned Stars to downgrade your own gear.
Solo and Duo Tournaments: the five-minute damage race
Tournaments are the headline competitive addition. Find the Hollow Kage NPC to open the event menu, where you pick Solo Tournament or Duo Tournament, read the rules, and check the current leaderboard before you queue.
Inside, the format is simple. You get five minutes in an arena and you fight a rotation of bosses, including Awakened Devil, Imperator, The Sovereign of Ruin, and Scarlet Knight, The Crimson Revenant. Your score is total damage dealt in that window, so uptime matters as much as raw numbers. A strong endgame build can clear the 100 million mark in a single run.

Finishing the run drops you back out with your total damage and your leaderboard position. The top of the board is where the exclusive payouts sit, and the 1st Place panel puts a weapon, Blade of Draconia, at the front of it.

| Reward type | Examples on the board |
|---|---|
| Gear | Blade of Draconia, Blazing Lotus |
| Currency | 10000000 Coins |
| Spins | 500 Lucky Spins |
| Appraisal currency | 25000 Stars |
| Classes | Exclusive class unlocks for top placements |
Because the payout includes Stars and Lucky Spins, a high placement loops straight back into the Appraisal and class systems. Clear the event, then spend the winnings on rerolls rather than hoarding them.
Sinister Trigger and Embertide Dragoon
Update 1.5 adds two classes to the pool. Sinister Trigger is an Exotic ranged class and shows up in the spin menu as Exotic Sinister Trigger; it already ranks at the top of the class meta alongside the other Exotic and Celestial picks. Embertide Dragoon is the second addition. Both roll through the Lucky Spin system like the rest of the roster, so the pull rate is the gate, not a quest chain.

Magic Unleashed and The First Test raid
The Magic Unleashed event continues through the Spell-Breaker NPC, which opens the raid menu for The First Test. The raid runs on Normal, Extreme and Impossible difficulties, with the harder tiers carrying the better exotic gear, aura and Mage Coin odds.
The detail worth planning around is the weekend bonus, which doubles the rare drop chance on quest items. If you are farming the event for a specific piece, save your attempts for the weekend window instead of grinding it flat across the week.
Dungeon Lootr ships its patches on Saturdays, and Update 1.5 was released at 20:00 UTC on its launch day. No official date or time has been confirmed yet for the patch after it, including Update 2, so treat the Saturday cadence as the pattern rather than a promise. In the meantime, the fastest use of the new systems is the boring one: scrap your retired upgraded gear for ingots, reroll only the pieces sitting below 90% quality, and use the Tournament as a five-minute test of whether those changes actually moved your damage.
