The Skystrike Gauntlets arrived on September 3 as part of the Clouded Revelation 2.1.3 update in Where Winds Meet, and they are not bought, crafted, or pulled from a banner. One drunken old man in Hidden Mountain hands over both the Martial Art and its signature Internal Art, and he only does it after you beat him and sit through his story.
Quick answer: Defeat Jiu Qiansui in a duel at Millennium Crossing in Hidden Mountain, then speak to him again and pick “Listen to the story” to unlock both the gauntlets and Eonpour.
What you need before starting
There is no material cost and no reputation grind here, but there is a hard gate on where the encounter takes place.
- Access to the Hidden Mountain region, which opens through the main story quest.
- Version 2.1.3 or later, since the Martial Art shipped with that update.
- A character strong enough to trade blows with a Level 97 duelist.
The official account marked the arrival of the new weapon alongside the rest of the Clouded Revelation content.

How to beat Jiu Qiansui (Level 97 duel)
Jiu Qiansui fights at Level 97, but the duel is a straightforward one-on-one with no phases or adds. He telegraphs his swings clearly, so the reliable approach is to parry his attacks and punish the opening that follows rather than trying to out-trade him.

Any Martial Art you are comfortable with works. The encounter is a check on your parry timing rather than your gear set, and counterattacks land for heavy chunks of his health bar once you stop his combo.

Keep an eye on your Endurance meter. An “Insufficient Endurance” warning cuts off your attack mid-swing and leaves you standing still in front of him.

Listen to the story to finish the unlock
Winning the duel is only half of it. Ending the fight pops the A Drink Well Earned achievement, but the gauntlets are still locked at this point.
Find Jiu Qiansui again nearby, now sitting beside his wine jars, and talk to him a second time. Choose Listen to the story and let the dialogue play out in full. His account of his travels and his drinking pushes Eonpour’s Comprehension to 100 percent.
You will know it worked when the reward screen shows both the Skystrike Gauntlets Martial Art and the Eonpour Internal Art, followed by the lore and combat preview panel for the weapon style. The gauntlets then appear as owned in the Develop menu under Martial Arts.
Eonpour Inner Way effects and details
| Detail | Value |

At its base tier, Eonpour makes all Bamboocut – Draught skills deal 5% more base damage in the Inebriate state, rising to 10% against non-player units. In the Inebriate–Deepdaze state, the Skystrike Gauntlets can trigger Dragonquench–Inebriate, and landing Light Attacks with the gauntlets, including the Bloombreak version, feeds Binge Points back into the gauge.
Breakthrough tier bonuses
- Tier 1: Skystrike Gauntlets Light Attacks, standard and Bloombreak, grant 2 Binge Points.
- Tier 2: Increases Min Physical Attack based on your Solo Mode Level.
- Tier 3: Inebriate raises Bamboocut – Draught base damage by 10%, or 20% against non-player units.
- Tier 4: In Carouse, gauntlet Light Attacks grant 3 Binge Points, and 5 on the sixth hit. Taking direct damage from players restores 5 points, once every 2 seconds.
- Tier 5: Increases Direct Critical Rate by 4.6%.
- Tier 6: Inebriate–Deepdaze boosts base damage by 20%, or 40% against non-player units. Peakfall on an Exhausted Boss inflicts Wildstride, Strayhunt, and Drunkslay, and activates Deepdaze or extends it by 6 seconds, on a 60-second cooldown.
Upgrading Eonpour to higher tiers
Raising Eonpour’s tier requires Solo Mode Level 4, also shown in-game as Level 4 Roaming. Until you hit that threshold, the Internal Art stays at its starting tier no matter how many upgrade materials you have banked.
The upgrade item is Eonpour: Notes, obtainable through several routes, with the Tips Exchange being the most direct one. Each tier layers either a flat stat gain or a stronger version of the Inebriate damage bonus on top of what you already have, so the gauntlets scale well past the moment you first pick them up from an old man by a waterfall.
