Which WoW Forever editions include beta access
Only editions from the Skyborne Epic Pack and up carry a beta entitlement. The base game, which is free with any active World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time, gets you into Forever at launch but never into the beta.

The Skyborne Heroic Pack gives you the new Skyborne race, name reservation, the Cerulean Prideclaw mount, and cosmetics, but it does not include beta access. If the September 17 test is your only reason to spend money, the Epic Pack at $59.99 is the floor.
The physical Collector’s Edition also qualifies. It bundles a digital Warcraft Forever Collection code alongside the statue and other items, so it carries the same beta entitlement as the digital Collection.

How to confirm your beta access worked
For a digital pre-purchase, the beta entitlement attaches to your Battle.net account immediately after checkout. For the Collector’s Edition, the confirmation is the Beta Access Key email, which arrives shortly after purchase and includes redemption instructions. You know the beta itself is ready when the World of Warcraft: Forever beta appears as an installable game in your Battle.net app on September 17.
The Warcraft III content in the Collector’s Edition and Collection is delivered separately and may not arrive at the same time as your beta key, so a missing WC3 code does not mean your beta access failed.
WoW Forever beta and launch dates
The beta gives roughly five weeks to test zones, dungeons, raids, and systems before everyone starts fresh. Buying an upgrade also unlocks the name-reservation and Invite-A-Friend windows that follow.

Early Name Reservation is included with any upgrade purchase and lets you create and customize up to three characters. Names are first-come, first-served and are not guaranteed, so move quickly if a specific name matters to you.
Beta characters and progress do not carry into the live game. Everyone resets to level 1 when Forever launches on November 4, so treat the beta as a chance to scout leveling routes and learn the new zones rather than a head start you keep. The 30 days of Game Time bundled with the Epic Pack and Collection also begins at launch, not during the beta.
