Monopoly on Roblox is GroovyII’s digital version of the classic board game — a close recreation that tweaks a few of the original rules rather than following the rulebook to the letter. It has grown into one of the platform’s busier board-game experiences, with about 37,000,000 total visits and about 160,000 favorites, and roughly about 2,200 players in active games as of November 8.
The game’s Halloween Update is live right now. It brings a new Haunted Mansion map, a Candy currency earned by playing matches and collecting rent, and a new Jack’s Curse mode, and it is scheduled to run through November 2, 2026. Halloween Update
The Halloween Update is Monopoly’s big seasonal event for 2026. Its centerpiece is a new Haunted Mansion map, paired with a Candy currency that players build up by finishing games and collecting rent. There is also a new mode called Jack’s Curse, in which Jack periodically drops scrolls onto the board offering tempting deals along with a 1.5x Candy boost — playable in standard tables, custom lobbies, and the global queue.
All that Candy feeds a Halloween Box of limited-time cosmetics, headlined by a new Mythic game piece named Jack. Because the cosmetics are limited to the season, they are tied to the event rather than being permanent unlocks.
The update went live on the evening of October 16, 2026 (ET) and is scheduled to wrap up on November 2, 2026, giving players a little over two weeks to bank Candy and chase the Halloween cosmetics. There is about to be announced left, and so far it has drawn interest from about 100 players.

GroovyII has said this Halloween Update ran behind the usual timeline and that they plan to get back to the roughly biweekly update rhythm players are used to once it is out.
