Rebirth is the main progression lever in +1 TNT Mining. It lets you give up your Damage stat and your accumulated levels, and in return you gain permanent multipliers to how fast your Damage grows through training and how much Cash you earn when you sell blocks. The level system exists mostly to gate this feature, so hitting the threshold and cashing it in is the point.
Quick answer: Rebirth the moment the option unlocks. It resets your Damage and level to 1 but grants permanent multipliers to Damage gain and Cash earnings, while your Cash, TNT unlocks, and upgrades stay untouched.
When to Rebirth in +1 TNT Mining
Rebirth becomes available once you reach a set level threshold. Because the reset returns your level to 1 no matter how far past that threshold you climbed, sitting on extra levels is wasted effort. As soon as the button is active, use it.

The Damage you sacrifice sounds costly, but the permanent Damage gain multiplier makes it back quickly. After a Rebirth you can surpass your previous Damage and level within a few minutes of training, so there is little reason to delay.
Treat each Rebirth as a checkpoint rather than a setback. The faster you cycle through them, the sooner your multipliers stack into meaningful gains.

Add to Google Preferences →What Rebirth keeps and what it resets
Only two things are wiped when you Rebirth. Everything tied to your long-term progress carries over, which is why the reset is far less punishing than it looks.
| Progress | After Rebirth |
|---|---|
| Damage stat | Reset to 1 |
| Level | Reset to 1 |
| Cash | Kept |
| TNT unlocks | Kept |
| Upgrades | Kept |
Because your Cash, purchased TNT tiers, and station upgrades stay intact, you keep your carry capacity, TNT placement limit, movement speed, and block collection range across every Rebirth. You are only rebuilding Damage, and the improved gain rate does that fast.

Permanent multipliers and extra training spots
Each Rebirth applies two permanent bonuses. The first raises how much Damage you build per unit of training, and the second raises the Cash you receive when selling mined blocks. These multipliers never expire, and every additional Rebirth compounds their strength.
Damage climbs through training, either by tapping the Left Mouse Button or by standing inside a Training area to build it automatically. Manual clicking is faster, while the Training area is hands-off. After you complete a certain number of Rebirths, additional training spots open up that carry higher Damage gain multipliers, so your rebuild speed keeps improving the deeper you go.

Equipped pets stack on top of this. They apply a passive multiplier to your training gain rate, and that bonus works in the automated Training area as well as when you click manually. Pets are never lost to a Rebirth, so their boost carries straight into your next cycle.
Using Rebirth to unlock new mining areas
New areas cost Cash, and reaching those thresholds without Rebirths is not realistic. The Cash earning multiplier from stacked Rebirths is what makes each new area affordable, which is why the mechanic matters most as you move from early game into mid game and beyond.
Once you have the required Cash, walk to the black wall at the far end of the mining area and click the green button to open the way forward. After an area is unlocked, the Teleport button lets you move between areas freely.

You will know a Rebirth worked as soon as it completes. Your Damage stat and level drop back to 1, the new permanent multipliers are active immediately, and once you pass the required Rebirth count, the extra training spots become accessible. From there, faster Damage gain and higher Cash payouts let you push toward the next area threshold.

Kept together, the Cash you never lose and the multipliers you keep gaining turn Rebirth into the steadiest way to avoid a progression plateau. Cash in every time the option lights up, rebuild your Damage in the Training area, and let the compounding bonuses carry you into deeper areas.
