Haki is the passive combat layer that One Piece-inspired Roblox games usually build toward, and Grand Blue has been designed with a slot for it. The Willpower stat in the character menu even describes strengthening Haki and increasing a Haki reserve. That description is the reason thousands of players go hunting for a hidden NPC, a cave, or a code that switches the system on.
Quick answer: Haki cannot be unlocked in Grand Blue right now. No quest, NPC, code, or stat threshold grants it in the current Early Access build, and no release date has been confirmed.
Haki in Grand Blue: Current Early Access status
Grand Blue is still in Early Access, and Haki has not been switched on in the live game. Independent playthroughs recorded at the end of August 2026 all reach the same result, with no Haki ability appearing in the Logbook, the skill menu, or any quest reward chain. The system appears designed on paper, but there is no path to it inside the game.
The developers have acknowledged the feature. Grand Blue owner bracting confirmed in the game’s Discord on May 9, 2024 that Haki would be added eventually. That message remains the clearest statement on the subject, and it came without a timeline.
The Willpower stat trap
Willpower sits on the stat hexagon alongside Health, Strength, Agility, Precision, and Energy. Its description mentions Haki strength, Haki reserves, and protection against negative status effects. Because the text is already visible, players assume the points do something today.
They do not. With the Haki system inactive, points spent on Willpower produce no combat return, and stat resets are a limited resource. Leaving Willpower low and catching up after the feature ships is the cleaner play.
There is no way to preview or “pre-charge” Haki by stacking Willpower. Levelling it early only delays your damage and survivability.
Haki types expected in a future Grand Blue update
Nothing about the final implementation is locked in, and exact names, tiers, and unlock thresholds have not been published. The three classic layers are what the game is expected to build on.

Observation Haki is the utility layer. It is expected to reveal invisible enemies and hidden objects, and to telegraph enemy intent a moment before a swing lands. In hourly plant contests it would show which tree is about to spawn before the visual flare.
Armament Haki is the damage layer. Bosses and high-difficulty NPCs in Grand Blue carry defense values that normal hits only partly penetrate, and an Armament coating on weapons and melee attacks would push through that reduction per hit.
Conqueror’s Haki is the rarest of the three and the most limited. In comparable Roblox titles it works as a short-range knockback that staggers weaker targets, with no effect on bosses or high-level players.
Where to spend stat points instead
Every point you were saving for a Haki build is better placed in a stat that is already live. Pick the one that matches how you fight.

Follow the main quest chain rather than wandering to distant islands. Levels, stat points, and extra skill slots are tied to the quest and boss loop, and enemy kills only count toward an objective while that quest is active.
Cursed Fruits remain the real power ceiling. They arrive through milestone quest rewards, Fruit Chests bought with Celestial Coins, the Robux shop, and hourly spawns under trees around the islands. Mastery is saved when you swap fruits, so testing a new one does not delete the hours you put into the last.
You can only carry one fruit’s powers at a time. Eating a second fruit overwrites the first.
Haki scripts and secret method claims
Any video, pastebin script, or hidden-NPC claim promising Haki in the current build is either wrong or an attempt to push you into an exploit. The developers have stated that exploiting Grand Blue results in a permanent ban, which is a steep price for a feature that does not exist yet.
There is also no code that grants Haki. Codes in Grand Blue hand out things like Fruit Chests, Trait Rerolls, and Race Rerolls, which shape your build but do not unlock the power layer.
How to confirm Haki has gone live
When the system ships, it will be announced in the patch notes and will show up as a new section in your in-game Logbook. That Logbook entry is the check that matters, since it lists the current abilities and unlock conditions inside the live build rather than a rumour about them.

- Willpower starts producing a visible in-combat effect.

Until any of that happens, treat Haki as a planned layer rather than a goal. Build Strength or Energy around a fruit you enjoy, clear the main quest chain, and bank your stat resets so you can rebuild toward Willpower the moment the update actually arrives.
