Hummin is one of the more annoying obstacles in Aniimo’s open world. The Grass-type Break Aniimo sits in groups across several regions, often right on top of a chest or a doorway you want to reach, and fighting one usually drags in the rest of the pack. Cloak solves that problem without a single hit being traded.
Quick answer: Catch a Wisptis at Berylline Vale during nighttime, Twine into it, then activate its Cloak mobility skill. While you are in the Cloak state, a nearby Hummin will not react as you walk past.
What the Cloak mobility skill does
Cloak is a Mobility skill, which means it belongs to the Aniimo you are currently Twined with rather than to your character. Its in-game description is deliberately short: it puts you into the Cloak state. That state is what wild Aniimo react to, so any creature guarding a path stops treating you as something worth approaching for as long as it holds.
Mobility skills only work in Twining, not in Command Mode. If you are ordering an Aniimo around from outside, you are still visible, so the trick simply will not fire.
Cloak is not the only route into that state. Luminous Prowl also enters the Cloak state, concealing you in pink mist, and runs on an 18-second-free but 15-second cooldown timer of its own.

Add to Google Preferences →Every Aniimo that has Cloak
Cloak is shared by one evolutionary family and its regional and Prismana variants. If you already own any of these, you do not need to catch anything new.
| Line | Forms with Cloak |
|---|---|
| Wisptis, Forest Wisptis, Highland Wisptis | |
| Ignitis, Forest Ignitis, Highland Ignitis, Prismana Ignitis | |
| Fulmintis, Prismana Fulmintis |
Wisptis is the easiest entry point because it is the Lumin-stage base form. Ignitis and Fulmintis are its Lv. 29 evolutions, so catching a Wisptis now also sets you up for a Cloak user later.
Where to catch a Wisptis
Both catchable Wisptis forms are nocturnal, so daytime trips are wasted. Change the weather or wait for night before you go looking.

| Aniimo | Element | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| Dark | Berylline Vale, nighttime | |
| Highland Wisptis (No. 40C) | Dark / Fire | Zephyrus Landbridge and Blitzwood, nighttime |
Wisptis is a DPS with 112 Attack and 112 P.Def but only 77 HP, so it goes down fast if a fight starts. That fragility is exactly why you want it cloaked rather than swinging.
How to sneak past Hummin with Cloak

You will know it worked the moment the Hummin’s idle behavior does not change as you close the distance. No alert animation, no turn toward you, and no combat music. If the group starts moving on you, Cloak has ended and you need to back off and re-enter it.
Where you will run into Hummin
Hummin (No. 20A) shows up in five regions, and the level you meet it at depends entirely on where you are. Knowing the spread helps you judge whether sneaking is worth it or whether you can simply fight through.

| Region | Level range |
|---|---|
| Nimbus Fields | Lv. 6–16 |
| Forest of Falling Stars | Lv. 21–26 |
| The Argent Strait | Lv. 29–33 |
| Mistwoods | Lv. 36–38 |
| Blitzwood | Lv. 41–46 |
Hummin’s own mobility skill is Dig In, and it spends a lot of its time buried in soil absorbing nutrients, where it looks like an ordinary low-growing plant. That means some of the Hummin in an area are not visible until they pop out.
A buried Hummin gets dizzy from heavy shock waves and pops out on its own. Hitting something nearby with a big attack can surface a Hummin you never knew was there and break the whole approach.
Once Wisptis is in your roster, Cloak stops being a Hummin answer and becomes a general traversal tool. Any packed camp, guarded chest, or cluster of creatures you would rather not aggro can be walked through the same way, and the skill carries forward into Ignitis and Fulmintis when you eventually evolve at Lv. 29.
