How to Unlock Stone Breathing in Slayers 2 (Roblox Gyomei Build)

Trainer location, the Axe and Mace requirement, all six training trials, and the boss drops that complete the Gyomei kit.

Stone Breathing is the slowest, heaviest style in Slayers 2, and it is also the one that gates you behind a weapon before the trainer will even talk to you. Gyorei, the Stone trainer, will not teach anyone who shows up empty-handed. That means the Axe and Mace comes first, the training comes second, and Gyomei’s actual gear comes much later from boss drops.

Quick answer: Reach level 25, take the Axe and Mace from the Stone Trainee, bring Beast Cores to Stone Trainer Gyorei, then clear six training trials to unlock Stone Breathing.

Stone Breathing requirements in Slayers 2

Everything below assumes you can reach Stone Sanctuary, which sits on a raised plateau. Get these sorted before you make the trip.

  • Level 25, the current milestone for every Breathing style in the game.
  • The Axe and Mace equipped or in your inventory before Gyorei gives you anything.
  • Beast Cores for his quest. Runs have been asked for four and for five, so farm five to be safe.
  • Wall Climb, since the route ends with a climb up the sanctuary cliff.

Stone Trainer Gyorei location and route

Start from the Bamboo Grove area near the bear spawns and follow the wilderness path through the torii gates. Keep moving; the Serpent King Obari patrols along this stretch and is not worth the fight at this stage.

Drop off the high ledge onto the cliffside pathway below and keep following the dirt trail. The route hugs the mountain and crosses a set of bridges.
At the fork in the trail, take the left path. That branch runs directly toward Stone Sanctuary.

Climb the stone wall at the base of the sanctuary to reach the upper plateau. The Stone Trainee stands near the cliff edge, and Stone Trainer Gyorei waits outside the dojo building just behind him.

How to get the Axe and Mace from the Stone Trainee

The Stone Trainee on the plateau is the only source of the legendary Axe and Mace, and it is not a guaranteed drop. Kill it, open the chest it leaves behind, and repeat. Some players get it on the second kill, others need a long string of attempts.

Once it drops, the weapon lands in the Uncategorized Weapons tab of your inventory rather than with your katana. Equip it from there and you will see the ground-dragging effect trailing behind the flail on every sprint and M1 swing.

Refiner Hagane in the Hidden Mist Village can refine the Axe and Mace to raise its damage. Pushing it to around level 6 makes the training fights and the later boss runs noticeably shorter.

Beast Cores and the six Stone Breathing training trials

With the weapon in hand, speak to Gyorei again. He hands over a Beast Core quest, and those drop from Beast Born Demons. The mobs around Mistfall Harbor are the convenient farm, since they spawn in groups and drop the cores straight into your loot.

Turn the cores in and the quest tracker flips to Stone Breathing Training (0/6). Each trial is a separate objective, and they can be done in order without backtracking much.

The Parkour Dungeon is the one that stops most players. It mixes wall jumps, double-jump gaps between pillars, and spike floors, and every lever has to be pulled before the timer runs out. Failing it costs you nothing but the run, so treat it as practice.

The final trial sends you back to the Stone Trainee. Beat it and the counter reads 6/6, which is your confirmation that Stone Breathing is unlocked. Open the skill tree and the Stone branch will be live, with Volcanic Conquest available for 3 skill points.

Stone Breathing moves, mastery levels, and skill point costs

Unlocking the style only gives you the first move. Everything after that is gated behind Stone mastery, which climbs as you fight with the style equipped.

MoveSkill pointsRequirement
Volcanic Conquest3Available immediately
Seismic Burst6Mastery 14
Upper Smash9Mastery 27
Stone Wall12Mastery 40
Arcs of JusticeScroll drop, unlocked around Mastery 53

Volcanic Conquest is a long-range smash that closes distance well, Seismic Burst is a single heavy strike that knocks targets down, and Upper Smash covers an area around you. Stone Wall doubles as cover and as an attack when you shatter it into the enemy in front of you.

Mastery grinding is the real time cost here. Demon mobs in the snow region around the campfire give steady mastery, and the 2x Mastery boost from the shop cuts the grind meaningfully if you are pushing toward Stone Wall.

Gyomei’s mythic drops: Stone Haori, Stone Slayer Uniform, Stone Necklace, and Arcs of Justice

None of the Gyomei cosmetics come from Gyorei’s training quest. They come from the Stone boss fights, and they are rare enough that most players end up running them many times over. The same chest pool can hand out two or three pieces at once on a good run.

  • Arcs of Justice — an ultimate scroll that opens its own node on the Stone skill tree.
  • Stone Haori — the outer layer of the Gyomei outfit.
  • Stone Slayer Uniform — the matching uniform piece.
  • Stone Necklace — the prayer beads, and the rarest of the set.

Arcs of Justice is the payoff. It slams the target to the ground, chains a long string of axe and flail hits, then finishes with a heavy flail swing. It is the single biggest damage window Stone Breathing has, and it is worth saving for boss health bars rather than trash mobs.

Stock Health Regen Elixirs from Alchemist Meku and pick up Luck boosts before repeat boss attempts. Luck affects what the reward chest rolls, and the necklace in particular tends to take several tries.

Himejima clan perks and the Gyomei look

Stone Breathing works on any clan, but Himejima is the thematic match and sits in the Mythic tier of the clan roll. It can take a lot of spins to land, and spins can be purchased if you would rather not grind rolls.

The clan brings Stone Skin Mode and Enhanced Hearing as its headline abilities, alongside Pain Resistance, Tactical Intellect, Repetitive Action, and flat stat buffs. Stone Skin Mode puts a glowing aura on your character and is the toggle you want up before a boss opener; Enhanced Hearing pairs with it for tracking attacks.

For the look itself, the character customization menu covers the rest. Shaved head, scarred face, the closed eyes, the uniform, and sandals get you most of the way there before the Haori and necklace even drop.

If you only care about the style itself, the fastest path is narrow: hit 25, farm the Trainee until the Axe and Mace drops, bring Gyorei his Beast Cores, and push through the six trials. The clan roll and the mythic drops are the long tail, and you can chip away at them with Stone Breathing already equipped.
