The Ray Gun is back as a Wonder Weapon on Haunted Hollow, the Halloween version of Haven’s Hollow that arrived with Call of Duty: Warzone Season 06 and The Haunting. It is not a guaranteed drop. You earn a chance at it by halting the Ghost Train that circles the map, then rolling the Mystery Box that appears once the train becomes solid.
Quick answer: Pull a signal lever as the Ghost Train approaches to stop it, board the rear carriages, and spin the Mystery Box repeatedly until it rolls the Ray Gun before your spins run out.

Where the Ghost Train travels and where the signal levers are
At the start of each match the Ghost Train appears as a glowing green, translucent train moving along the tracks. It follows one of two routes across the map, a west-to-east line that passes Lumbermill and an eastern line that runs past Coal Depot toward the Mansion and Research areas. You can attempt this in Casual or standard Resurgence playlists.

To interact with the train you need to reach a signal lever set beside the tracks. Levers sit at fixed points along both lines, so pick the one closest to where the train is heading.

Add to Google Preferences →Stop the Ghost Train with a signal lever
The Season 06 patch notes describe the goal simply: you must phase the train back into reality before you can loot it. Activating a signal is what does that.
A stopped train also carries Supply Boxes and a Buy Station alongside the Mystery Box, so it is worth clearing before rivals converge on the beam of light marking its position.
Roll the Mystery Box for the Ray Gun
Once the train is solid, the Mystery Box spawns on one of the rear carriages, marked with glowing question marks and a beam in the sky plus a Tac Map icon. This is the only way to obtain the Ray Gun here.

You have only a finite number of spins; afterward, the train changes back into its Ghost form and relocates. Take the item before it vanishes.
If you run out of spins, chase the train again
Missing the Ray Gun on a given train is not the end of the attempt. When the train turns back into its Ghost state and rolls on, follow it to the next signal lever and stop it again. Every stop gives you a fresh batch of Mystery Box spins, so repeating the process steadily improves your odds.

You know it worked when the Ray Gun sits in your hands with its own weapon model and green projectile impacts. Once claimed, it stays with you for the rest of the game unless you drop it yourself or are eliminated by another player.
How the Ray Gun performs in Warzone
The Ray Gun carries the traits it has in Zombies. It fires green energy rounds that deal splash damage on impact, so hits landing near an enemy still hurt them. Its fire rate is slow, a trade-off familiar to anyone who has paired it with the Double Tap Perk in co-op Zombies.
It starts with an ammo reserve of 100 rounds, and that reserve can be resupplied during the match. Ammo pickups and Full Ammo powerups from the Trick or Treat Pumpkins both top it back up, letting you keep using it long after the initial drop.

Because the Mystery Box result is random, treat every stopped train as another roll rather than a promise. Stick with the signal levers, spin efficiently, and the Wonder Weapon will eventually turn up.
