Aniimo: How to Get Sparki Forest Form

The green Mistwoods variant of Sparki only appears after dark, and here is exactly where it stands.

Sparki has four regional looks in Aniimo, and the green one is tied to fog. Forest Sparki is catalogued as No. 26C in the Aniilog, it shares the Fire element and Regen role with every other Sparki, and it refuses to show up while the sun is out. If you have been sweeping the Mistwoods in daylight and finding nothing, that is why.

Quick answer: Forest Sparki spawns only at nighttime. Go to the northern hills of The Mistwoods in Berylline Vale (around Lv. 43) after dark and catch the green Sparki there.

Forest Sparki spawn conditions and habitats

There is one gate on this form, and it is the in-game clock. The habitat entry lists a single requirement, Nighttime, so no weather change, quest flag, or item is involved. Three areas can produce it once night falls.

  • The Mistwoods, in Berylline Vale — the densest and most reliable spot
  • Berylline Vale itself, the wider region around the woods
  • Driftwise Meadow, further out at a higher level band

The base Sparki, the Highland form, and the Sea of Flowers form all live elsewhere, so a green Sparki is the only one you will meet in the Mistwoods.

Where to find Forest Sparki in the Mistwoods

Make sure it is night before you travel. The spawn flag flips with the clock, and daytime runs through the same hill will come up empty no matter how long you circle it.
Open the world map and locate The Mistwoods, the Lv. 43 forest zone sitting inside Berylline Vale. It borders the larger Berylline Vale band, with Russet High and Rosetower Woods nearby for orientation.

Zoom into the map and set your route toward the northern section of the forest. Use the nearest transporter to cut the run down, then travel on foot from there.

Climb the grassy hill at the north end of the woods. Several green, glowing Sparki float around the slope at Lv. 43, each labelled with a flame icon, so you rarely need to settle for a single catch attempt.
Weaken one and use Twine to capture it. Bring a team that can handle Lv. 43 fights comfortably, since the Sparki themselves are fragile but the surrounding zone is not gentle.

How to confirm you caught the right form

Check the Aniilog after the catch. The Forest form is filed as No. 26C, between Highland Sparki (26B) and Sea of Flowers Sparki (26D), and its entry reads that these Sparkis changed colour after absorbing fog as fuel, with a warning not to follow them into it. If your new capture slots into 26A instead, you picked up the base Sparki somewhere else.

The details page for the creature is the other quick check. It lists the habitat as The Mistwoods in Berylline Vale and the requirement as Nighttime.

The other forest form hiding in the Mistwoods

Ignitis has its own green Mistwoods variant, and it is unlocked by combat rather than by the clock. Open the world map and route to the Mistwoods stretch of Berylline Vale, which is also where the Alpha Ignitis roams.

Put a base Ignitis into the fight and clear six Wisptis in the Mistwoods. That run of kills triggers the Forest form encounter.

Open the Aniimo menu afterwards and the green Forest form Ignitis should be sitting in your roster alongside the base version.

Forest Sparki stats, trait, and skills

Forest Sparki is a Lumin stage Fire Aniimo in the Regen role, with a Fire Lv. 2 Homeland ability. Its numbers are modest, and almost all of its value sits in energy regeneration.

Its trait, Blazing Flames, keeps it permanently loaded with 20 stacks of Fire Debuff. Trick Fire Ring adds four more stacks per hit and Fire Orb adds three, so it strips fire resistance for the rest of the team rather than carrying damage itself.

Trick Fire Ring costs 20 EP, has power 42 and a 1 second cooldown. It fires a ring that expands and then contracts, and the further away the target is the harder it lands, up to 50 percent extra damage. Fire Orb throws an explosive fireball and can be held to aim. There is no mobility skill here, so keep a traversal Aniimo on the team.

Weakness-wise it takes 1.6x from water and dark, deals 1.6x to grass and ice, and shrugs grass, fire and ice attacks down to 0.625x. Durability is low, so pair it with a healer or shield.

Evolving Forest Sparki into Forest Flamerion

The Lumin to Nova jump has a location condition attached, which is easy to miss if you level the creature elsewhere. You need a Lv. 21 Forest Sparki, you must be standing in the Mistwoods, and it must be nighttime again. The evolution costs Blaze Stone x3.

That makes the northern hill worth a second visit. Catch the Sparki on one night, raise it to 21, then come back after dark and evolve it on the spot rather than hunting for the right conditions later.
