Forest Form Ignitis is the green, Grass-tinted version of Aniimo’s No. 041 assassin, and it never shows up on its own. It only appears as a response to something you do in the world, which means the catch is gated behind a very specific trigger rather than a rare spawn timer.

Quick answer: Take a Basic Form Ignitis into Mistwoods and defeat six Forest Form Wisptis with it. Forest Form Ignitis then spawns nearby, and you catch it with an Anipod.

What you need before the Forest Form will spawn

The trigger checks two things: which Aniimo is fighting, and which Wisptis you are killing. Miss either and nothing happens.

  • A Basic Form Ignitis in your party, deployed and doing the killing.
  • Access to Mistwoods in Breezy Plains, where Forest Form Wisptis spawn at around Lv. 43.
  • Spare Anipods, since the Forest Form has to be captured like any other wild Aniimo.
  • A team that can handle a Lv. 43 fight, because the Wisptis group and the Ignitis that joins them are the same level band.

Getting a Basic Form Ignitis first

Ignitis is a nocturnal spawn. Head to Berylline Vale and set the time of day to night, then look toward the southern end of the vale. The open-world encounter there is the Alpha variant at Lv. 47, sitting just outside the Mistwoods area you will be using for the trigger. Ignitis also shows up in the field alongside wild Wisptis after dark, where it can be locked onto and netted directly.

Lock onto it, wear it down, and throw an Anipod to add the Basic Form to your roster. That capture is the whole point of this step, because the Forest Form check looks specifically for an Ignitis dealing the killing blows.

If you already own a Wisptis instead, you can evolve your way there. See the evolution route further down.

How to trigger Ignitis Forest Form in Mistwoods

Travel to Mistwoods in Breezy Plains, the forested pocket where Forest Form Wisptis gather. The map marker for the fight sits a short distance from the Berylline Vale Ignitis spawn, so you can do both trips back to back.

Twine with or deploy your Basic Form Ignitis before you engage anything. The counter only registers kills made by Ignitis itself, so leaving it on the bench while another party member clears the camp wastes the run.
Work through the Lv. 43 Wisptis in the area until Ignitis has defeated six of them. They come in clusters, so you will usually need to clear more than one group before the count is satisfied.

Watch for the on-screen alert reading “Ignitis has appeared nearby to protect Wisptis!” That message is the confirmation that the trigger fired, and a Lv. 43 Forest Form Ignitis joins the fight.
Whittle its health down, then throw an Anipod. A successful capture pops the No. 041 Forest Form card, which is the moment it becomes yours rather than just a spawn.

How to confirm you got the Forest Form

Open the Aniimo party menu. The new entry is filed under No. 041 with the Forest Form label, and the model is unmistakably green rather than the black-and-shadow Basic Form. Deploy it and the difference carries into combat, since its spin attack lands as Grass damage instead of Dark.

The evolution route: Wisptis Forest to Ignitis Forest

There is a second way in that skips the spawn hunt entirely. Ignitis evolves from Wisptis, and a Forest Form Wisptis evolves into a Forest Form Ignitis as long as you meet every condition at once.

  • The Wisptis must be at level 29 or higher.
  • Defeat three Wisptis of the same Form as your own, in succession.
  • Do it in Mistwoods or Blitzwood.
  • Hold a Night Stone ×1 to pay for the evolution.

The form is inherited, so a Forest Form Wisptis produces a Forest Form Ignitis. The same pattern applies elsewhere in the line, with Highland Form Wisptis evolving in Zephyrus Landbridge under the same level, kill and Night Stone requirements.

What the Forest Form changes

Forest Form Ignitis keeps the Dark typing and adds Grass, and it swaps Scythe Dance for Forest Whirl. The two skills are mechanically identical spins that hit all nearby targets multiple times and stack a 4 percent damage buff per hit up to 32 percent for 10 seconds, with the element being the only real difference. Base stats are unchanged from the Basic Form.

Attack is by far the standout at 125, with Break the weak spot at 52. The Battle Fervor trait carries over too, granting a stack of Battlelust for 25 percent more damage for 20 seconds each time it defeats a target, up to two stacks. Twining with it still grants Cloak.

For the complete set, activate each remaining variant through its own condition. Use six Highland Form Wisptis for Highland Form, following the Forest method; Prismana Form requires a Prismana Flow, allows only one at a time, and never respawns.
