Version 3.7 of Wuthering Waves closes the Xuanfang arc and drops two new Electro 5-stars into a patch that already has four reruns competing for the same Astrite. Hsin is the headline — the first playable Sentinel in the game — and Suoming is built to stand right behind her. The awkward part is that the reruns sitting next to them may do more for the teams you already own.

Quick answer: Hsin, Iuno and Chisa run in Phase 1 when Version 3.7 launches on September 30 at 11:00 AM (UTC+8). Suoming, Lynae and Lucilla follow in Phase 2.

Wuthering Waves 3.7 banner lineup and phase order

Both halves of the patch are confirmed, including the signature weapons attached to each new Resonator.

PhaseNew 5-starRerunsSignature weapon
Phase 1Hsin (Electro, Rectifier)Iuno, ChisaBlooming Jadehaven
Phase 2Suoming (Electro, Sword)Lynae, LucillaUnspoken Rue

The featured 4-stars split across the two halves as well. Phase 1 carries Taoqi (Havoc), Youhu (Glacio) and Buling (Electro), while Phase 2 brings Lumi, Danjin and Chixia. Hsin’s weapon banner runs alongside Fusion Accretion, Dauntless Evernight and Commando of Conviction as the featured 4-star weapons.

When Phase 1 goes live

Version 3.7, titled “Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination,” releases on September 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM (UTC+8), and Hsin’s banner opens at the same moment as the update. North American servers hit that timestamp on September 29 local time, while European and Asian servers see it on September 30. You know the phase is live when Hsin appears on the Featured Resonator Convene with a fresh pity-free banner slot — Phase 2 replaces it roughly three weeks later.

Hsin: Unison Mode versus Electro Flare

Hsin is a 5-star Electro Rectifier user and the game’s first playable Sentinel. What makes her unusual is that she is effectively two characters depending on which resonance mode you commit to.

  • Unison Mode — she plays as a sub-DPS and buffer, throwing out off-field attacks. This is the mode that pairs her with Jinhsi.
  • Electro Flare — she takes the field as the main damage dealer, running a rotation around Forte stacks and her Liberations.

That flexibility is the reason her pull value is harder to call than a standard DPS release. If you already own Jinhsi, Unison Hsin slots into an existing team. If you do not, you are buying into a new Electro shell that wants a second piece.

Suoming: built to feed Hsin’s rotation

Suoming is a 5-star Electro Resonator who fights with a Sword concealed inside an oil-paper umbrella. In practice she is a sub-DPS and a dedicated support for Hsin, built around a fast Unison mechanic and outro buffs that hand the incoming Resonator damage amplification.

Suoming’s design leans heavily on Hsin. If you skip Phase 1, her standalone ceiling in other teams is the open question you are gambling on.

New Echo sets and Version 3.7 team shells

Three new Echo sets arrive with the patch. Heart of Sworn Vigil is Hsin’s set and rewards triggering Electro Flare or Unison. Flash of Electric Reflection covers the swap and support Electro role, and Flower of Tinged Yearning is a healer set with Unison synergy. The realistic team shells that come out of this are Hsin Unison, Jinhsi Unison, and a straight Electro Flare on-field build.

Five new Echoes also enter the pool: Formrender, Soulfrayer, Skywatch Lancer, Bloomburst Puppet and Jade Nether Serpent.

Rerun banners: Chisa, Iuno, Lynae and Lucilla

This is where the patch gets expensive. All four reruns are supports or buffers that finish teams you may already be halfway through building.

Chisa (Phase 1)

Chisa is a 5-star Havoc unit whose value sits in Defense Shred, applying +3 Negative Status stacks, and healing on top of that. She is the direct comparison point against Suisui for Yang Xuanling teams.

Iuno (Phase 1)

Iuno is a 5-star Aero support who buffs heavy attack damage and brings shield synergy. She is the piece that completes Augusta, Jingran and Yang Xuanling teams rather than a standalone damage add.

Lynae (Phase 2)

Lynae is the most universal option on the patch. Her buffs are not locked to one element, covering 15% All DMG AMP, a 24% Damage Bonus, 25% Liberation Damage and a 40 Tune Break Boost, which makes her fit into essentially any Tune Break team.

Lucilla (Phase 2)

Lucilla runs a dual-mode kit. Glacio Chafe mode serves Hiyuki, while her Echo Skill mode is aimed at Galbrena and Sigrika. She is the closest thing this patch has to a Qiuyuan alternative, so how she stacks up against him decides whether she is worth the pity.

Pull priority for Version 3.7

The trap in this patch is spending everything on the two new Electro units and ending the version with two half-finished teams. The better order is to fill the support hole in a roster you already play before you chase a new carry.

Look at your strongest existing team and identify the missing support. If Chisa, Iuno, Lynae or Lucilla is that piece, that rerun beats a brand-new DPS for you this patch.
Decide which Hsin you want before Phase 1 opens. Unison Hsin only pays off if you have Jinhsi or plan to pair her with Suoming, while Electro Flare asks you to hold the field and manage Forte stacks yourself.
Treat Suoming as a conditional pull. If Hsin is in your account after Phase 1, Suoming’s value climbs sharply. If you skipped Hsin, hold the Astrite for Lynae instead, since her buffs apply across far more teams.
Budget weapon pulls last. Blooming Jadehaven and Unspoken Rue are separate banners from the character convenes, and committing to both leaves very little room for a Phase 2 rerun.

Free pulls and livestream codes to bank first

Before you work out how short you are, claim everything the patch hands out. Two login events cover Gifts of Waking Moon, which gives 5 Radiant Tides and 5 Lustrous Tides, and Gifts of Singing Drizzle, which gives 10 Radiant Tides. That is 20 free pulls across Version 3.7.

Three livestream codes add 300 Astrite in total, plus upgrade materials. They are time-limited, so redeem them before the version rolls over.

FINDSENTINEL100 Astrite, 2 Premium Enclosure Tank III, 40,000 Shell Credits

Add those up first, then measure the gap against the banner you actually want. With two new Resonators, four reruns and two signature weapons packed into six weeks, Version 3.7 punishes anyone who pulls on Phase 1 impulse and works out the math afterwards.
