Water Breathing is one of the eight Breathing styles in Project Slayers 2, and it is also one of the most awkward trainers to reach. Urokodaki does not stand in a village or on a rooftop like most of the others. He sits in a hidden dojo on the far side of a flooded cave tunnel, which is why plenty of players run past the entrance without ever noticing it.
Quick answer: Reach level 25, then swim the flooded tunnel below the cliff near Bamboo Grove Sanctuary to find Water Trainer Urokodaki, pay his Wen and Demon Horn cost, and complete his training quests.
Water Breathing requirements in Project Slayers 2
Sort your level and materials out before making the trip. Reaching the trainer does not hand you the style by itself, and you do not want to swim the tunnel twice because you turned up short on horns.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Level | 25 minimum |
| Wen | 5,000 |
| Demon Horns | Bring 30 to be safe |
| Movement | Wall Climb helps on the exit |
The Demon Horn cost is the one number that has been quoted inconsistently during early access, with figures ranging from 10 up to 30. Farm 30 and you are covered either way, with the surplus carrying over to other trainers. Level 25 is the shared unlock milestone across every Breathing style right now, so a Water Breathing run doubles as preparation for Flame, Wind, or Serpent later.
Where to farm Demon Horns
Demon Horns drop from the Oni that spawn around the waterfall area. It is a dense spawn point, so a few clearing passes are usually enough to cover the trainer cost. Grind the horns first, then head for the cliff.

Add to Google Preferences →Water Breathing trainer location: The underwater route to Urokodaki
Urokodaki’s hideout sits underneath the Bamboo Grove area, reachable only through a submerged opening in the river below the cliff. If you are coming from the other side of the map, the bear area works as a rough landmark too, as the small house on the island near the cliffs marks roughly the same stretch of water.

Do not stop or backtrack mid-tunnel. Your character can drown before reaching the far side, so keep swimming forward until the passage opens up.

Urokodaki’s training quests and the Sabito fight
Talking to Urokodaki and paying his cost starts the questline rather than finishing it. The training splits into a dungeon run, a set of conditioning tasks, and a boss fight.

With Sabito beaten, return to finish the quest and Water Breathing is yours. The confirmation is straightforward, as the quest closes out and Water Breathing appears in your Skill Tree menu with its own moveset instead of the empty slot you had before.
Water Breathing mastery and unlocking the final skill
Unlocking the style gives you the early moves, not the full kit. The Skill Tree gates each move behind mastery levels, and the last skill in the Water Breathing line carries an extra condition: you have to defeat Giyu Tomioka.

Tomioka is worth hunting for his drops as much as the unlock, since he hands over the Dead Calm technique along with the Water Haori and Water Katana. For mastery itself, strong bosses pay out far faster than trash mobs, so cycling Susamaru, Tomioka, and Yahaba is the efficient way to push the tree forward.
It is worth pinning the tunnel entrance in your memory even after you are done. Several other Breathing trainers are scattered around the same bear and Bamboo Grove regions, and knowing the cliff route saves a lot of aimless swimming the next time you go collecting styles.
