Sword Fight on the Heights IV: How to Get the Secret Quest Badge (The Hunt)

The hidden badge only unlocks after the Four Sword Collector badge, and the route runs through the Abyss.

The hidden badge only unlocks after the Four Sword Collector badge, and the route runs through the Abyss.

The Secret Quest badge in Sword Fight on the Heights IV is the hardest thing to find in the 2007 leg of The Hunt: Roblox 20, mostly because nothing in the map points you toward it. It is gated behind another badge, it lives in the Abyss rather than the main arena, and the final stretch is a launcher-hopping climb with no safety net. The event runs through September 28, 2026, so the window is short.

Quick answer: Earn the Four Sword Collector badge first, then take the purple portal to the Abyss, touch the hidden blue brick, use the red door behind the black wall, and launcher-hop to the dark sphere.

What you need before the Secret Quest unlocks

The Secret Quest will not register at all until you hold the Four Sword Collector badge. The badge description spells the requirement out directly:

Before starting the secret quest, obtain the 4 Sword Collector Badge to qualify for this badge.

That badge itself has two halves. You press five buttons in the 2007 hub area, then you pick up four swords inside Sword Fight on the Heights IV. Both are required, and the hub portal into the game stays locked until the button half is done. Access to the 2007 hub comes from finishing the 2006 Crossroads challenge, since The Hunt: Roblox 20 unlocks its eras in order.

All five button locations in the 2007 hub

Start by talking to the NPC in the pirate hat at the spawn island, Telamon, to accept the five-button quest. Nothing counts before that conversation. Here is where the buttons sit.

Button spotHow to reach it
Caged NoobWalk the direction the pirate NPC faces
Red-roofed housePress it at the main entrance
Brown mountainClimb to the top, under the giant rocket launcher
Blue glass buildingTake the path behind the pirate NPC, into the tunnel
Platform by the red buildingCross the disappearing bridge

Order does not matter, and an on-screen counter ticks up to 5/5 as you go. The button on the raised brown platform marked with a sun emblem is an easy opener if you want the climbing out of the way early.

The house button is right at the front entrance, beside the pile of colored toy blocks, so it is hard to miss once you are on that side of the island.

On the disappearing bridge, only step on platforms that are fully solid rather than faded, and keep moving instead of pausing mid-span.

With all five pressed, go back to Telamon and speak to him again. That closes out the quest and opens the portal into Sword Fight on the Heights IV.

Collecting the four swords for Four Sword Collector

Step through the portal behind the spawn NPC and you land on the classic floating arena. Four swords are scattered across the platforms, and you claim each one by walking or jumping onto it. The set covers the default sword plus Darkheart, Illumina, and Windforce, and you can also pick up a sword dropped by another player who was holding it.

Dying is not a reset. You lose the swords from your inventory, but the event counter keeps every pickup, so three swords before a fall means you only need one more.

Some swords sit on the upper tiers, so expect narrow beams, scaffold trusses, and a tall stepped ladder on the way up. Others are lower down, near the flames and the small grey pedestals. The counter shows 4/4 Swords Acquired and a Badge Awarded popup fires the moment you finish.

Secret Quest route: from the Abyss to the dark sphere

With the prerequisite badge in hand, everything from here happens below and above the main arena, not on it.

In Sword Fight on the Heights IV, cross the map until you reach the purple portal; entering it sends you to the Abyss.
Drop down through the Abyss platforms, past the fiery rings, until you reach the lower brown platforms near the baseplate. This is where the trigger for the quest is hidden.

Look for a small blue brick resting on a brown platform beside a yellow sun tile, and touch it. It is tiny and easy to run straight past, so slow down once you are on the bottom level.
Head to the nearby black structure and climb its set of stairs to the top.
Go to the far side of the large black wall positioned above. Behind it, you’ll find a concealed red door that functions as a teleporter.
Use the red-and-yellow target launcher beside the red door; it will send you high into the air.
Land on the next target launcher and keep chaining them across the sky. Each pad throws you toward the following one, so line up your landing before you touch down.
Finish on the transparent platform holding a black pedestal, and touch the dark sphere on top. That completes the quest.

How to confirm the Secret Quest badge was awarded

Touching the dark sphere triggers the badge award notification in the top of the screen, the same popup style used for the sword challenge. If you would rather double-check, the badge appears in the Badges section of your Roblox profile and on the experience’s badge list once granted.

This is a limited-time event badge, not a permanent unlock, so it stops being obtainable when The Hunt: Roblox 20 wraps up. If you are still working through the earlier eras, clear those first, because the Four Sword Collector badge gate sits in front of the whole route.
