Beast Cores are a progression material in Project Slayers 2, and the only reliable way to collect them is to kill the enemies that carry them. They come off Beast Born Demons, also called Beast Demons, which roam a small cluster of village paths and cliffs in the north of the map. Five of them sit in front of a Breathing Style unlock, so most players run into this farm well before level 25.
Quick answer: Kill Beast Born Demons east of Mistfall Harbor and south of Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, marked by pink demon head icons on the map. They spawn at night and drop Beast Cores.
Where Beast Cores drop in Project Slayers 2
Open the world map and look for the pink demon head icons sitting east of Mistfall Harbor. That cluster is the main Beast Born Demon population, spread across grassy cliffs above the village and the pathways running through it below. The enemies themselves are low level, wear white and pink robes, and can appear as early as Level 3, so you do not need a finished build to farm them.

A second farm exists in the cave underneath the mother bear. Low-tier demons spawn there in packs of around six and drop both Beast Cores and Demon Horns, which makes it efficient if you need the horns as well. Spawn density is what makes that cave fast, not a better drop rate, so it works best with two or three players clearing together.
| Farm spot | How to find it | Also drops |
|---|---|---|
| East of Mistfall Harbor | Pink demon icons on the map, south of Bamboo Grove Sanctuary | — |
| Village below the starter town | Drop off the cliff, cross the lake and waterfall bridge | — |
| Cave under the mother bear | Groups of roughly six demons inside | Demon Horns |
Set your spawn point in the village next to the farm. Death or a disconnect then costs you seconds instead of another cross-map run.

Night spawns and drop rate
Beast Born Demons are tied to the night cycle. If you arrive in daylight and the area looks empty, you have not gone to the wrong place — wait out the cycle or hop to another server where night has already started. Demon Horns come from the same nighttime population, which is why the two materials are usually farmed on one trip.
There is no published drop percentage for Beast Cores. Kills at the village below the starter town have been reported at roughly one core every three demons, but that is an observation, not a developer figure. Treat any guide quoting a clean 10, 20, 50 or 100 percent rate as unverified.
Prioritise enemies labelled Beast Born Demon or Beast Demon. Ordinary demons in the same area do not carry the core.
What Beast Cores are used for
Beast Cores feed Breathing Style unlocks. The clearest case is Serpent Breathing, taught by Obari, which asks for level 25, 20 Demon Horns and 5 Beast Cores. Collect all five before walking back to the trainer so you are not repeating the trip.
| Style | Trainer | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Serpent | Obari | Level 25, 20 Demon Horns, 5 Beast Cores |
Trainer costs have shifted around release, and the numbers quoted for a first style do not fully agree. One launch build listed 5,000 Yen alongside level 25, 30 Demon Horns and 5 Beast Cores, while a post-launch account reported 10,000 Wen and 20 to 30 Demon Horns with no cores at all. The level gate and the horn requirement hold up across both, so farm materials first and re-check the cash price on the trainer itself.
How to confirm a Beast Core dropped
A successful kill shows the drop immediately, and the core lands in your inventory rather than as a pickup you have to walk over. Open the inventory menu and look for the Beast Core entry with its item description. If it is not there, the demon simply did not roll it — keep clearing the loop until the count climbs.

Because respawns are on a timer, the fastest approach is a constant circuit rather than standing still. Run the cliffs, drop into the village, clear what has come back, then repeat. With a spawn point set nearby and a night cycle running, five cores is usually a short session rather than an evening.
