Report Cards are the Skill Points you spend to unlock Passive Talents in Aniimo. They sit at Legendary rarity (Tier 5), and the in-game description frames them as a certificate from the Polaris Institute that enhances your passive talents. You will not craft or buy them, so every copy you own comes from progression: leveling up, submitting research, clearing story chapters, and beating tough field opponents.
Quick answer: Report Cards come from rank promotions at Lv. 25–60, Aniilog level-ups, Journey Quest milestones, Elite Pathfinder Challenges, and one open-world chest. You spend them under Character > Talents to learn Passive Talents.
Rank promotions and character level gates
The most reliable large Report Card payouts come from Pathfinder Rank gates, where promotion occurs. Each milestone level unlocks an Elite Training course. Complete that course and pass the Promotion Assessment to receive a new Character Title, Report Cards, and new talents to learn.

Lv. 60 is the final Rank Promotion gate before the current endgame content, even though the character level cap sits at 71. That means these seven milestones are the full run of level-based Report Card rewards for now.
Journey Quest chapter milestones
Journey Quests (the Growth Story chapters) drip out single Report Cards as you push through chapter progress. There are more than two dozen of these quest and progression payouts across the campaign, so working through the story steadily adds up over time.

Aniilog level rewards
Every time your Aniilog level goes up, a Report Card is one of the rewards you can claim. Submit your Aniimo research from the Aniilog menu to raise the level, then collect the payout there. Because the Aniilog fills as you catch and discover creatures during normal exploration, this is a passive source that keeps topping up while you play.
Elite Pathfinder Challenges
Elite Pathfinder Challenges are the tougher duel encounters that camp out across the region. Defeating an Elite Pathfinder can hand you Report Cards, and these fights are frequently tied to the Promotion Assessment you need to clear to advance a rank. Clearing the challenge and completing the associated Growth Story quest is what triggers the reward.
Open-world chest
One treasure chest in the open world holds a Report Card, dropping a single copy at a guaranteed rate when you open it. Some chests demand extra effort to reach, such as using an Aniimo skill to cross terrain, so keep an eye out while exploring even after you have exhausted the level and quest rewards.
How to spend Report Cards on Passive Talents
Report Cards only do one thing: they pay for Passive Talents on the Talents screen. Active Skills are learned with Demo Tapes instead, so Report Cards go toward passives like Enhanced Twining, Elemental Boost, Boss Breaker, and similar upgrades.
To rebuild your setup, activate the Reset icon at the Talents screen’s bottom-right; every skill then returns to its default level for 2,000 Credits.
