How to Get Mountain Form Tuckin in Aniimo (Evolution Requirements)

Every condition for turning a Mountain Hummin into Mountain Tuckin, from the Omega Tuckin unlock to the Berylline Vale dig.

Every condition for turning a Mountain Hummin into Mountain Tuckin, from the Omega Tuckin unlock to the Berylline Vale dig.

Mountain Tuckin is the orange-red variant of Aniimo’s No. 22 line, and it never shows up in the wild. The only way to add it to your Aniilog is to raise a Mountain Hummin and trigger a very specific evolution condition in Berylline Vale, after a boss fight has unlocked the option in the first place.

Quick answer: Catch a Mountain Hummin in Sea of Flowers or Berylline Vale, level it to 18, defeat Omega Tuckin in Mistwoods, then hold Dig In for 20 seconds at Berylline Vale’s mud pit.

Mountain Tuckin evolution requirements

All four conditions below must be satisfied at the same time. Miss any one of them and the Mountain Tuckin option stays greyed out in the Evolution menu.

The digging condition is per creature, not per account. Every Mountain Hummin you want to turn into a Mountain Tuckin has to do its own 20-second dig.

Where to catch Mountain Hummin

Mountain Hummin appears in two habitats, Sea of Flowers and Berylline Vale. Sea of Flowers, in the Breezy Plains region, is the easier hunting ground because the spawns sit out in the open field. Run one down, throw an Anispod, and you have your base Aniimo.

Make sure you are grabbing the mountain variant rather than the standard green Hummin. The two lines split completely: a regular Hummin evolves into the plain Tuckin at the Sanctum: Twisted Roots entrance in Mistwoods, while the mountain variant only produces Mountain Tuckin, and only at the Berylline Vale mud pit.

Mountain Hummin can also evolve into Mountain Hexxin at Lv. 18 for Night Stone x3, with no field condition attached. If you want both, catch two.

Unlock the evolution by defeating Omega Tuckin

Until Omega Tuckin goes down, the game will not offer the Mountain Tuckin branch at all. The encounter sits in Mistwoods, where a large plant creature bursts out of the ground as a Lv. 50 boss.

After defeating Omega Tuckin in the main story, complete the Binding Oath side quest to make the battle repeatable. If the story already had you defeat it once, that victory fulfills the requirement.

Dig at the Berylline Vale mud pit for 20 seconds

Get your Mountain Hummin to Lv. 18 before you make the trip. The dig registers regardless of level, but the Evolution menu will refuse to proceed under that threshold.
Travel to Berylline Vale and find the large mud mound. It is a distinct raised patch of soil, not just any muddy ground.

Twine with the Mountain Hummin you want to evolve so you are controlling it directly, then stand next to the mound and use its Dig In mobility skill.
Stay buried for a full 20 seconds. Do not surface early or move away from the mound. A notification appears once the creature is ready to evolve.

Confirming the evolution worked

Open the Evolution menu for that Mountain Hummin and check the criteria list. All three lines, the Lv. 18 requirement, the Omega Tuckin defeat, and the 20-second dig at the great mud pit, should be marked as met. Pay Sprout Stone x3 and confirm to play the evolution animation.

When it finishes, the creature moves from Lumin to Nova stage and registers in your Aniilog as Mountain Tuckin, No. 22B.

Mountain Tuckin stats, trait, and skills

Mountain Tuckin is a Nova stage Break Aniimo carrying both Grass and Earth elements. In the Homeland it brings Carry Lv. 3, Grass Lv. 3, and Earth Lv. 2.

Its trait, Prank Master, scales Break damage with max HP for every 21,000 points, and summons a Hummin helper when it enters battle, adding another every 10 seconds up to three. In practice the summons only start once Mountain Tuckin lands an attack, so swapping to it and standing still does nothing.

Noisy Strikes10391s
Haunting Choir20471s
Draw Nourishment30015s

Every one of those combat skills pulls the summoned Hummins to the target, so none of them function until at least one is out. Off-Key Shock Wave and Noisy Strikes are the repeatable Break tools, Haunting Choir adds a one-second stun in an area, and Draw Nourishment roots Mountain Tuckin in place, granting 20% Break efficiency to itself and its Hummins, restoring 50% HP to all of them instantly, and healing 2% HP per second afterwards. Mountain Tuckin has no mobility skill of its own.

Once the mud pit condition is done, the hard part is behind you. The only thing that ever needs repeating is the dig itself, and only if you decide a second Mountain Tuckin is worth another Sprout Stone x3.
