Aniimo: How to Trigger the Golden Shooting Star at Tideblossom Coast

Tideblossom Coast keeps one of its best moments locked behind the clock. Late in the Breezy Plains region, a clue called Clue: A Lighthouse? asks you to be on the coast after dark and chase down the local legend of the Golden Shooting Star. Follow it through and the star does not stay a story — it lands, and what climbs out of the crater is a fight.

Quick answer: Unlock the Day and Night Switch through the main quest, set the world to night, then head to the beach south of the Tideblossom Coast Bloom. The star falls and spawns Level 60 Alpha Luminelle.

Requirements before the Golden Shooting Star will appear

This is a night-gated event, not a random weather roll, so nothing happens until you can control the time of day yourself.

  • Advance the main quest until the Day and Night Switch becomes available.
  • Have the clue Clue: A Lighthouse? active in your Log, picked up in Tideblossom Coast.
  • Bring a team suited to the region’s level band of 53–60 — the boss that spawns is Level 60.
  • Carry catching gear. An Anipod Ultra is what finishes the encounter cleanly.

Alpha Luminelle is a Lightning boss at Level 60, well above the level most players sit at when the clue first appears. Arriving underlevelled does not block the spawn, but it does turn the fight into a long grind.

Where the Golden Shooting Star lands in Tideblossom Coast

Open the world map and move to the Breezy Plains, then to Tideblossom Coast in the south. The spot you want is the southern stretch of shoreline, south of the Tideblossom Coast Bloom, which is where the Alpha marker for Luminelle sits. Hovering the southern island on the map pulls up the Luminelle boss entry, which is the easiest way to confirm you are heading to the right patch of beach.

How to trigger the star and beat Alpha Luminelle

Switch the world to night, then run out onto the open beach. The event needs you on the coast itself, not inland among the flowers.
Stop and watch. A bright golden streak crosses the night sky and descends toward the shore. There is nothing to press here — the sequence plays out on its own.

The star hits the ground and Level 60 Alpha Luminelle rises out of the impact with its boss health bar. Combat starts immediately, so have your team positioned before the star finishes falling.

Catching Alpha Luminelle after the fight

Drain the boss health bar. Do not worry about finishing it off — the encounter moves to a capture phase rather than a kill.

When the bar empties, the Catch Countdown starts. This is a timed window, so open the catching wheel straight away rather than repositioning first.
Throw an Anipod Ultra while the catch rate is at 100%. The Alpha breaks apart into particles once the capture lands, and the reward roll follows immediately.

How to confirm the legend step completed

Once the catch is complete, the game proceeds through three updates: it opens Research Notes on Bulbly Electrolinguistics as a text item, displays the reward banner with experience and items, then updates your Log to Is That a… Lighthouse? with the objective “Talk to the Bulbly by the cliff.”

If your Log still shows the clue rather than the named quest, the catch did not register and the Alpha needs to be fought again.

Is That a… Lighthouse? remaining steps and rewards

The star is the hook, not the whole quest. Is That a… Lighthouse? is a Journey chapter set in Tideblossom Coast, and it keeps going long after the Alpha is in your team. The objectives run in this order.

  • Explore the story of the Bulbly.
  • Figure out how to interpret the electric current’s language.
  • Talk to the Bulbly by the cliff.
  • Search Tideblossom Coast for seafaring adventure lore.
  • Work through Treasures of the Sea and Where to Find Them, parts I to 6.
  • Tell Bulbly a story about the sea.

Finishing the chain pays out the following.

Tideblossom Coast: levels, spawns and collectibles

Tideblossom Coast sits in the Breezy Plains on Idyll, a flower-covered shoreline where the tide pulls fallen petals out into the shallows. Wild Aniimo here run from level 53 to 60, and Lightning is the most common element on the coast.

Three of those entries are conditional rather than always present. Rainstorm Luminelle only turns up during rainy or thunderstorm weather, Prismana Luminelle appears after a Prismana Flow is triggered, and Sea of Flowers Pomegg starts spawning once you have cleared the Breezy Plains main quest and defeated Irelia.

For collectibles, the coast holds 2 Blooms, 23 chests, 3 Lumin Amber, 1 ecological point and 2 Pathfinder Challenges. Clearing those on the same night trip is worth doing, since the region also hosts three other clues — a second Clue: A Lighthouse?, Clue: The Golden Shooting Star, and Clue: The Miraculous Seedling — that all key off the same stretch of shoreline.
