Idyll runs on a day and night cycle, and you do not have to stand around waiting for the sun to move. Aniimo lets you jump the clock forward from the main menu, which is handy when a quest, a view, or a creature spawn only lines up with one half of the cycle.
Quick answer: After opening the main menu, use the right-hand Day and night clock. Select the sun for Noon or the moon for Nighttime, then press Confirm.
Change the time of day from the main menu
The whole process takes about five seconds, and it works while you are out in the field rather than at a specific camp or structure.

Add to Google Preferences →Noon and Nighttime: what the dial offers
The dial is deliberately simple. There are two destinations, and the icon you press decides which prompt appears.
| Icon | Time period | Prompt shown |
|---|---|---|
| Sun | Noon | Jump time forward to Noon? |
| Moon | Jump time forward to Nighttime? |
Going back the other way uses the exact same flow. Reopen the menu, select the clock icon while the dial reads Noon, press the moon, and confirm the jump to Nighttime. The transition screen plays again and you drop back into a dark Idyll.

The jump is always forward. Choosing the sun at night moves you ahead to the next Noon rather than rewinding the clock.
How to confirm the time change worked
Three things tell you the skip went through. First, the “Time passes…” loading screen appears immediately after you press Confirm. Second, the world reloads with the new lighting, so a Noon jump drops you into full daylight and a Nighttime jump into darkness.
Third, and the most reliable check, reopen the Day and night dial. The line at the top updates to the new period, reading “Currently in the Noon time period.” after a daytime jump. If it still names the old period, the confirmation did not register and you can simply run through the four steps again.
Why the time of day matters for Aniimo spawns
Idyll is built around distinct biomes, dynamic weather, and time-of-day mechanics that feed into which creatures show up where. Flipping between Noon and Nighttime is the fastest lever you have over that, whether you are chasing a species that only turns up after dark or you want clear visibility while hunting chests and collectibles across a region.
Because the dial sits in the main menu rather than behind a story unlock or a piece of gear, you can keep cycling it as you move between areas. Treat it as part of your routine before a catching run, not as a one-off trick.
