The nectar objective in A Fragrant Journey: Rosetower Woods stops a lot of players, mostly because the game asks you to “twine” with a creature you may not own yet. Twining is Aniimo’s transformation system, and the Whitesnow Rose at the top of Whiterose Tower only gives up its nectar to a Dewy. Everything else in the step follows from that one requirement.
Quick answer: Catch the Dewy perched on the tower roof, add it to your active party in Aniimo Management, twine with it, fly up the tower’s interior, gather the Whitesnow Rose Nectar, then brew it at the Dewy nest.
What you need before the nectar step in Rosetower Woods
This objective sits in the middle of the journey, after you have found Awen, reached Whiterose Tower, found a way inside and explored the interior. It is part of the wider Flowers and Thorns storyline, and the quest itself is picked up in Rosetower Woods rather than handed to you in town.
- Rosetower Woods sits in the Breezy Plains region, with a level range of 43 to 50.
- A free slot in your active battle party for a Dewy.
- At least one Anipod, since the Dewy you need is a wild catch.
- Daytime, which is when Awen can be found in the woods.

Add to Google Preferences →Why only a Dewy can gather the nectar
Dewys collect nectar, ferment it inside themselves and spit it back out as aromathysts, the scented crystals every perfume in the game starts from. That is why the objective asks for the transformation rather than a simple interaction prompt. Selene explains the same loop back in Bloomville during Ceremony Preparations, where twining with a Dewy is introduced as the easy way to harvest.

Aromathysts are raw material. Refined ones become fragrances, and fragrances are blended into perfumes at a Perfumery Bench. The Rosetower Woods nectar feeds that same chain, ending with the legendary perfume Home.

Catch a Dewy at Whiterose Tower

Dewy is a pink-feathered flier found in the wild, with a pale face; it is not an NPC. If you obtained one earlier in the story, you can skip catching another.
Add Dewy to your party and twine with it

R2 to twine. Your character transforms into the flying Dewy form.
Fly up the tower and brew the Whitesnow Rose Aromathyst

How to confirm the objective is complete
The game confirms completion in two updates. The nectar first appears as Whitesnow Rose Nectar x1, along with directions to brew it at the nest. After you interact with the nest, you receive Whitesnow Rose Aromathyst x1, and the tracker advances to delivering that aromathyst to Awen. If the tracker still says “Go to the Dewy nest and brew an aromathyst”, you have not activated the brewing prompt.
What comes after the aromathyst, and the quest rewards
After Awen receives the aromathyst, the remaining work is mechanical. Because the old workshop has seized, drive the iron crate against the stone wall at the far end of the track, then break the rocks blocking the gears so perfume production can resume. The last scene asks why Awen is at the tower’s base and ends with her making the legendary perfume Home from her grandparents’ notes.
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Safaris | 1,000 |
| Glimmer | 30 |
| Credits | 22,500 |
| 30 | |
| Home (perfume) | 1 |
Home is worth holding onto rather than treating as a trophy. It is the perfume that restores the white colour of the Rosetower Colorless Dream later on, so the Dewy detour at the top of Whiterose Tower pays off well past the end of this journey.
