Lumber Tycoon 2: How to Get the Leather Adventure Backpack in The Hunt Roblox 20

The Leather Adventure Backpack is the free accessory attached to the 2015 stage of The Hunt: Roblox 20, and the only way to get it is by clearing a short wood-delivery task inside Lumber Tycoon 2. There is no purchase route, no shop entry, and no alternate unlock — the item sits behind the Lumber Tycoon 2 portal in the hub and stays locked until the in-game meter fills.

Quick answer: Finish Berezaa’s conveyor minigame at the 2015 hub, then go into Lumber Tycoon 2. Purchase the Basic Hatchet for $12, chop 20 pieces of wood you chopped yourself, and place them in Geck’s bin. Use the hub portal afterward to claim the backpack.

What you need before chopping any wood

Everything the quest asks for is handed to you at spawn. You do not need an existing Lumber Tycoon 2 save, a plot, or a vehicle to finish it.

The hub step is not optional. If you skip Berezaa and jump straight through the portal, the year will not register as complete even after the wood is delivered. Talk to him beside the conveyor belt, press the glowing green button, and let the machine run you through the processing line. Coming back to Berezaa afterwards ticks the tracker over to 1/1.

If you already own a stronger axe on an older save, it works here and cuts trees faster. It simply is not required — the $12 hatchet finishes the job.

Where to find Geck and the wood bin

You spawn near Wood R Us, the large store with the beard sign. Walk toward its door and a red sign points you left, where Geck stands next to a wooden bin with a “Need wood… please….” speech bubble. Talking to him activates the request. A red circle marks the ground around the bin, and a small arrow on the front tracks how full the meter is.

Note where the bin sits before you start chopping. You can only carry one piece at a time on foot, so a short route between your tree and Geck saves more time than anything else in this quest.

Buying and unboxing the Basic Hatchet

Head back into Wood R Us and find the raft area holding the boxed tools. Pick up the box containing the Basic Hatchet and carry it with you.

Take the box to the cash register and speak to Cashier Tom. The Basic Hatchet costs 12 of the $20 you were given on joining, so the purchase always goes through on a fresh account.

Carry the box outside and press E to open it, then press E again to pick up the Basic Hatchet. Buying the box alone does not put the tool in your hands — both prompts have to be used before you can swing it.

Filling the meter with 20 wood pieces

The target is 20 pieces of wood, not 20 trees. Two or three trees near the store are usually enough once you cut the trunk into sections, and the meter climbs with every piece the bin accepts.

Equip the hatchet and chop down a tree near the spawn area. Keep cutting the fallen trunk into smaller sections — oversized logs are awkward to position and may not drop cleanly into the bin.

Interact with the bin to open the lid before you try to deposit anything. There is an arrow prompt on the lid, and the interior glows green once it is open.

Carry each piece over and drop it inside. Unequipping the hatchet lets you pick up and haul a whole cut section, which cuts down on return trips.

Check the meter after every few deposits and keep going until it is full. One load rarely finishes it, so do not leave after Geck accepts your first pieces.

Loose wood lying around the map from other players does not count. Only wood you chopped yourself moves the meter, so ignore stray pieces near other plots.

Faster options if you have an old save

A vehicle removes the one-piece carrying limit. Load cut logs onto a flatbed, drive to Geck’s station, and unload the whole batch at once. Keep the loads modest — a stack that tips over on the drive costs more time than a second trip would have.

Running wood through a Wood Processor also raises its value, which fills the meter with fewer deliveries. Neither shortcut is needed to clear the stage; they only shorten it for returning players who already have the equipment.

Confirming the quest completed

When the twentieth accepted piece lands, a dialog box appears telling you the Lumber Tycoon 2 quest is complete and to return to the hub to claim your prize. That message is the only confirmation that matters. If the bar stops moving before it fills, make sure the wood is going inside the open bin rather than being dropped beside it, and that you cut it yourself.

Claiming the Leather Adventure Backpack and badge

Leave Lumber Tycoon 2 and go back through the portal into the 2015 area of the hub. The Leather Adventure Backpack sits on the pedestal directly behind the Lumber Tycoon 2 portal. Interact with it, press Claim, and both the accessory and the You Helped Geck badge are awarded together.

If the claim fails with a “Failed to check badges. Try again soon!” message, close the window and interact with the pedestal again. Do not move on to the next time portal until the item is actually in hand — the 2015 year has to be marked complete before the following challenge opens.

Start to finish, the 2015 stage is a short one. The conveyor minigame takes seconds, the hatchet costs less than the cash you are handed, and two or three well-cut trees cover the entire 20-piece requirement. The only real trap is walking away from the bin before the meter tops out.
