Stormwind spreads its class trainers across seven districts, which makes the Warrior trainers one of the harder sets to stumble onto by accident. They are not in the Cathedral, not in the Trade District, and not anywhere near the city entrance. They sit behind a gate in Old Town, the same district that houses the city guard and the SI:7 rogues.
Quick answer: All three Stormwind Warrior trainers stand on the upper floor of the Command Center building in Old Town, in the southeast corner of the city, around /way 78 46.
Stormwind Warrior trainer names and coordinates
Three Warrior trainers share the same room, all aligned with Stormwind. Any of them can teach you every rank they offer, so pick whoever you reach first.
| Trainer | Exact spot | Coordinates |
|---|---|---|
| Ander Germaine | Upstairs, all the way back on the bearskin rug | 78.2, 47.5 |
| Ilsa Corbin | Upstairs on the landing with the green rug | 78.5, 45.7 |
| Wu Shen | Upstairs on the landing with the green rug | 78.7, 45.8 |
Ilsa Corbin and Wu Shen are the two you meet first at the top of the stairs. Ander Germaine is a few steps further in, standing on a raised platform above them.

If you are already standing at the Stormwind Rogue trainer near SI:7, turn left, cross the courtyard, and take the stairs in the building beyond. That is the same room.
How to confirm you found the right trainer
Each of the three NPCs carries the <Warrior Trainer> title under their name, and hovering over them shows a book icon instead of the usual speech bubble. Right-click any of them and the training window opens with a list of ranks and their gold costs.
Non-warriors get brushed off rather than trained. Ilsa Corbin, for example, tells anyone in the wrong armor that they should go read a book instead.

Warrior abilities and ranks trained in Stormwind
These are full-service trainers, not starter-zone stand-ins. The Stormwind roster covers roughly 95 spells and ranks between level 1 and level 60, spanning Arms, Fury, and Protection. New ranks unlock at fixed levels, and the cost climbs steeply as you go, so checking in every few levels is cheaper on your time than saving up a backlog.
| Ability | Level | Tree |
|---|---|---|
| Charge (Rank 1) | 4 | Arms |
| Hamstring (Rank 1) | 8 | Arms |
| Bloodrage | 10 | Protection |
| Disarm | 18 | Protection |
| Cleave (Rank 1) | 20 | Fury |
| Intimidating Shout | 22 | Fury |
| Execute (Rank 1) | 24 | Fury |
| Berserker Rage | 32 | Fury |
Battle Shout is the clearest example of how ranks stack up over a career. Rank 1 comes at level 1, then new ranks land at levels 12, 22, 32, 42, and 52, with the cost rising from a handful of copper to several gold.
In Classic Era, Ilsa Corbin also hands out the level 10 Warrior class quest, A Warrior’s Training. That quest was removed from the modern game in patch 4.0.3a.
Closer Warrior trainers for levels 1-10
If you are still working through the human starting area, the trip into the city is optional. Elwynn Forest has two Warrior trainers of its own, both aligned with Stormwind.
- Llane Beshere – Northshire Abbey, inside the church in the Hall of Arms (east wing). Only trains abilities up to level 6.
- Lyria Du Lac – Goldshire, standing outside the forge building across from the inn.
Once you outgrow Northshire, the Command Center becomes your permanent stop, and it stays useful right through to level 60 because Outland has no class trainers at all. It is worth setting a map pin on that upper floor now, since Stormwind is also the only Alliance city where trainers for all nine classes can be found.
