Glynsera Nighttime Form is an Ice/Dark DPS that keeps everything people like about regular Glynsera and adds the Night Slash signature skill, which pushes heavy break damage through its Dark typing. It only shows up after dark, so the whole process hinges on switching the time of day before you go looking for it.
Quick answer: Set the time to Nighttime, then either defeat the elite Old Recas in Beast Fang Ridge so it starts spawning as a catchable Aniimo, or catch 8 Bonesky in a row in Rosetower Woods to make it appear.

Requirements before you start
Every route to this form runs at night, and you can reach the earliest method well before endgame. Beast Fang Ridge is one of the first story regions, around the level 20 to 25 range.
- The time of day must be set to Nighttime for the Aniimo to appear.
- For the Beast Fang Ridge route, follow the Warrior journey quest, The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge.
- Bring an Anipod Ultra if you want a guaranteed catch after the fight.
- Evolving instead? Keep 3 Freeze Stones and reach the level gates below.

The first available route is through the Warrior quest. Its clues point toward Old Recas, an elderly Glynsera Nighttime Form that wanders inside a concealed cave on the ridge’s north side, close to the Frigid Waters Sanctum. You cannot capture Old Recas; defeat it instead, and that flips the switch, causing a catchable version to begin appearing there.

After the first kill, Old Recas is gone for good, but the regular catchable version keeps returning at night, so you can repeat the day-to-night cycle to farm attempts.
Catch Nighttime Glynsera at Rosetower Woods
Rosetower Woods offers a second spot, and it doesn’t need a boss fight. Nighttime Bonesky live on a ridge in this area and only appear after dark. If you catch 8 Bonesky in a row there, Nighttime Glynsera spawns in the same location. Visit at night, chain those catches, and it turns up ready to be caught directly.
Evolve a Nighttime Bonesky into Glynsera Nighttime Form
If catching one in the wild isn’t working out, you can raise one instead. Nighttime Bonesky evolves up the line into the Nova stage, and both steps must happen at night. The final evolution also costs Freeze Stones.

| Stage | Level | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Nighttime Bonesky → Nighttime Fenrier | Lv. 24 | Must be nighttime |
| Nighttime Fenrier → Nighttime Glynsera | Lv. 34 | Must be nighttime, Freeze Stone x3 |
Since the wild spawn exists in both regions, most players skip the grind and catch one outright. The evolution path is mainly useful if you already have a Nighttime Bonesky leveling up.
Confirm the catch registered
After registration is complete, the Anilog card for No. 044 Glynsera (Nighttime Form, Nova Stage) appears. The card is sent to storage, letting you inspect its 3D model and Star Up stats or add it straight to your battle party.

Get a perfect Sparkling version
For the best possible copy, use a Sparkling Cube. It guarantees a Perfect Sparkling Nighttime Form Glynsera, a much rarer variant with a standout look that also hits hard. If you’re going to invest in this Aniimo long term, that’s the version worth chasing.

Its trait, Biting Wind, raises Crit Rate by 15% when a target holds more than 5 stacks of Ice Debuff, which pairs neatly with its ice skills and the Night Slash signature move. Once it’s registered and in your party, you have a front-line attacker that scales well in longer fights.
