Exact locations, levels, and coordinates for every Agamand you need to kill before turning the remains in at Brill.

Deaths in the Family is a Horde quest in Tirisfal Glades that sends you into Agamand Mills to destroy the plagued members of the Agamand family and carry their bones back to Brill. The targets are scattered across the farm, they wander, and they usually have Darkeye Bonecasters standing next to them, which is what makes the run feel harder than the level range suggests.

Quick answer: Kill Nissa, Gregor, and Thurman Agamand in and around Agamand Mills, loot all three sets of remains, then hand them to Coleman Farthing in Brill.

Deaths in the Family quest requirements and rewards

The quest exists in two forms. The version played in World of Warcraft Classic is a level 11 quest that requires level 7 and three sets of remains. The post-Cataclysm version scales to the 1–30 bracket and adds a fourth target, Devlin Agamand.

Because everything happens inside one small farm, it pairs cleanly with the other Agamand Mills quests. If you have The Haunted Mills and The Mills Overrun in your log, run all three at once instead of clearing the same undead twice.

Where to find every Agamand in Agamand Mills

All three named undead are level 10 in Classic, and all three patrol short loops rather than standing still. If a target is missing from the coordinates below, circle the building or windmill once before assuming it is dead — respawn times here are short.

TargetLevelWhere to lookCoordinates
Nissa Agamand10First house on the path, upstairs and outside the front door49, 35
Gregor Agamand10Northwest windmill, often on the far side from the road45–47, 29–31
Thurman Agamand10Southwest windmill beside the cliff face42–44, 33

Gregor is the one people lose time on. He wanders the path between roughly 47, 31 and 43, 32, so check both sides of the windmill with the large tree stump next to it.

In the post-Cataclysm version, the four targets sit at slightly different spots. Devlin stands in front of the barn at 48.9, 34.0, Nissa is upstairs in the farmhouse at 49.7, 36.2, and Thurman and Gregor are on either side of the windmill to the northwest at 45.9, 30.3 and 45.7, 29.6.

Full route through Agamand Mills

Take the quest from Coleman Farthing in Brill and travel northwest to Agamand Mills. Open your map before you set off so you can track the farm buildings and the two windmills that anchor the whole route.
Walk up the path and enter the first house you reach. Clear the Darkeye Bonecaster inside before you start hunting for Nissa, since these casters will happily add to your fight from the next room.

Find Nissa Agamand and kill her. She sits upstairs in the house but also wanders down to the front entrance, and she has a wide aggro radius, so she may pull you before you spot her. Loot Nissa’s Remains from her body.

Head northwest across the open fields toward the first windmill. Cracked Skull Soldiers patrol this stretch, so pull them one at a time rather than running through the middle of the group.

Kill Gregor Agamand at the base of the windmill and loot Gregor’s Remains. If he is not on the road side, walk around the structure and check the back, where he frequently spawns.

Reach the southwest corner of Agamand Mills by heading to the second windmill alongside the cliff face. This shortest stretch of the route passes additional Cracked Skull Soldiers.

Kill Thurman Agamand and loot Thurman’s Remains. He is usually escorted by a Darkeye Bonecaster, so deal with the caster first or interrupt it, otherwise you fight both at range while Thurman hits you in melee.

How to confirm the quest is complete and turn it in

Each set of remains is a separate quest item, so your log should read 1/1 next to Gregor’s Remains, Nissa’s Remains, and Thurman’s Remains before you leave the farm. If one line is still at 0/1, the named target either wandered off or respawned while you were fighting, and you need to sweep that windmill or house again.

Once all entries are filled, return to Brill and speak to Coleman Farthing to hand in the remains. He pays out 4 silver in the Classic version along with the experience and Undercity reputation, and the post-Cataclysm version lets you pick either the Darkwood Staff or the Bonecracker.

Completing the turn-in immediately opens Speak with Sevren, which is the next step in the Tirisfal Glades chain and pushes you out of Agamand Mills toward the rest of the zone. If you are still holding The Mills Overrun, finish it on the same trip before you run back to Brill.
