Aniimo: How to Get Helgon Mountain Form

Mountain Form Helgon is the rarest way to fill the No. 066 slot in the Aniilog. It is a Wind element, BREAK role Aniimo at Nova Stage, and unlike most wild catches it does not roam a field you can walk across. It circles in the air above a cluster of tall stone pillars, and there is exactly one spawn point for it in the entire world.

Quick answer: Fly to the stone pillars in the Russet Highlands, stand on the pillar that sits under Helgon’s flight path, then throw an Anipod Mega at its back for a backstrike capture.

Mountain Form Helgon location in Russet Highlands

The spawn sits above the stone pillar formation in the Russet Highlands, in the Breezy Plains portion of the map, west of Twister Peaks. The ground below the pillars is the red, snow-flecked terrain where a group of Jawlings gathers, which is a good sign you are in the right pocket of the region.

Open the map and set your marker near coordinates -1162, 1804 before you set off. The pillars are visible from a distance once you are close, so the marker is mostly there to keep you pointed west of Twister Peaks rather than drifting into the rest of Breezy Plains.

What to bring before the trip

This is a short checklist, and skipping any of it turns the attempt into a long walk for nothing.

  • A flying mount or a gliding companion, since the pillars are far too tall to climb comfortably.
  • A stack of Anipod Mega, which is the pod tier used on a level 45–50 target.
  • Spare throws, because misses at this range are common and the pod sails straight past.
  • Patience for the flight loop; Helgon circles the pillars rather than sitting still.

How to catch Mountain Form Helgon

Travel to the pillar field and dismount at the base. Look up to confirm the formation, which reads as a row of mushroom-shaped columns with a flat plateau above them.
Take to the air and climb. Updrafts between the pillars help you gain height quickly if your mount glides rather than powers straight up.

Land and find Helgon in the sky. It holds a wide circular route over the peaks, so watch a full lap before you commit to a spot.

Reposition onto the pillar that sits directly beneath that loop. Standing on a pillar off to the side is the single biggest reason throws fall short, since Helgon never passes close enough to lock on cleanly.

Equip an Anipod Mega and wait for Helgon to pass. Aim at its back as it moves away from you so the throw lands as a backstrike, which multiplies the capture rate.

If a throw misses, do not chase it into the air. Hold the pillar, let Helgon finish its lap, and throw again on the next pass.

Catch rate modifiers that matter here

ConditionEffect on catch
Base wild catch chance19%
Target in BREAK state×1.5
Backstrike throw×1.5
Sparkling variant odds1 in 20,000 (base)

Because this target is in the air on a fixed route, the backstrike is the multiplier you can control reliably. Stacking a BREAK state on top of it means knocking Helgon down first, which is slower and risks losing the window as it drifts away from your pillar.

How to confirm the catch worked

A successful throw plays the capture sequence and then puts the Aniilog card on screen. Check that it reads No.066 with the Mountain Form label and Nova Stage, alongside the Wind element and BREAK role icons. An experience notification appears at the same time.

You will also see a line confirming that Helgon Special Form collection progress increased, with Collaboration Ability Level +1. If that message does not appear, the pod missed and the creature is still circling overhead.

Evolving into Mountain Helgon instead

If the wild catch keeps slipping away, the same Aniimo can be raised from its earlier forms. Mountain Jawling evolves into Mountain Helmwhelp at Lv. 38, and Mountain Helmwhelp evolves into Mountain Helgon at Lv. 48.

The Nova Stage evolution has to be unlocked first by opening 30 chests in the world cumulatively. The evolution itself costs Gust Stone x3.

Mountain Helgon skills and traits

Overcharged Claw Strike20681s
Wind Counter206915s

Wind Counter is the reason to field it. It puts Helgon into a defensive stance with 30% extra damage reduction and an automatic counterattack, and you can still move and cast other skills while it holds. Getting hit at the exact moment you cast it adds 20% BREAK efficiency for 10 seconds and stuns the attacker for 1.5 seconds.

  • Counter Strike (trait): after being attacked, BREAK efficiency rises by 25% for 10 seconds.
  • Wind Tackle: knocks back small targets and adds 15% damage reduction for 10 seconds.
  • Skyfall (ultimate): flies up and slams into the ground for heavy damage.
  • Fly Lv.2 pathfinding and the Bilateral mobility skill for exploration.

Keep it off the field against electric and light attackers, which hit it for 1.6x damage, and lean on it against wind and dark enemies, where incoming damage drops to 0.625x. As a defensive opener that cracks enemy defenses while soaking hits, it earns its place on a Wind team long after the trip to the pillars is over.
