Bonesky’s Nighttime Form is a dark/ice DPS Aniimo that never appears in daylight. It occupies a single ridge in Rosetower Woods, and the only gate on it is the in-game clock — no quest, no item, no unlock.
Quick answer: Wait for nighttime, teleport to the Rosetower Woods point, head north up the ice wall, and follow the snowy path uphill to the ridge clearing where Bonesky (Nighttime Form) spawns at Lv. 49–51.
Bonesky Nighttime Form spawn requirements
The Aniilog entry lists a single habitat, and the map screen spells out the condition in one word: Nighttime. Check these before you travel.
- Time of day must be night. The daytime Bonesky spawns elsewhere and is a different form.
- Rosetower Woods is the only habitat area for this form.
- Bring Aniipods rated for a Lv. 49–51 catch — an Anipod Mega handles this range comfortably.
- Keep stamina topped up; the climb north uses Hustle-style sprinting.
The map entry for this form shows the Rosetower Woods habitat as a Lv.49-51 band, so a mid-40s team will be outmatched if a wild Bonesky decides to fight back.

The spawn sits above the main woodland floor, on a snowy shelf beside frozen water. The climb is short once you know where to start.

You know it worked when the capture resolves and the Aniimo is added to your roster under entry No. 42B, separate from the basic form’s No. 42A slot.
Nighttime Bonesky stats, trait, and skills
This is a Lumin Stage DPS with dual dark and ice typing. Its totals are modest, which is expected for the first stage of the line.
| Stat | Value | Stat | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 71 | P.DEF | 56 | |
| 88 | M.DEF | 57 | |
| 38 | REGEN | 67 | |
| Total | 377 | Mobility | Hustle |
Its trait, Biting Wind, raises critical rate by 15% against targets carrying more than five stacks of Ice Debuff. That pairs directly with its own kit, since Ice Strikes applies five stacks in a single cast and Boomerang Blade keeps adding more while the blade spins.
| Skill | Power | EP cost |
|---|---|---|
| 55 | 20 | |
| 55 | 20 | |
| 39 | 20 |
Boomerang Blade drains energy for as long as the blade is airborne, and pressing the skill button again recalls it. Its innate attack is a physical melee strike carrying the ice element. Defensively, it takes 1.6x damage from fire, wind, and holy, and resists electric, water, and ice at 0.625x.
Evolution path: Nighttime Fenrier and Nighttime Glynsera
Both evolution steps carry the same time-of-day lock as the catch, so plan to level and evolve during the same night window rather than hitting the level threshold at noon and waiting around.

| Stage | Requirement | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Nighttime Fenrier | Lv. 24, nighttime | None listed |
| Nighttime Glynsera | Lv. 34, nighttime | Freeze Stone x3 |
The payoff at the end is a Nova Stage dark/ice DPS with a 512 base stat total, the Ice Tornado ultimate, and Frost Tail Strike, which can consume 10 stacks of Ice Debuff for 85% extra damage. Nighttime Glynsera also has a second route: catch eight Bonesky in a row at the same Rosetower Woods ridge and it appears there directly at night.
Where Rosetower Woods sits in Breezy Plains
Rosetower Woods is a Breezy Plains area with a Lv. 43-50 band, one bonfire, and a dense spread of collectibles, so a trip for Bonesky doubles as an exploration run. Neighbouring zones sit at similar levels if you need to grind before the catch.
| Area | Level range | Chests | Lumin amber |
|---|---|---|---|
| 43-50 | 92 | 13 | |
| 47-57 | 58 | 6 | |
| 50-55 | 40 | 3 | |
| 19-28 | 66 | 5 |
Rosetower Woods also has six pathfinder challenges and 43 ecological points, so clearing them on the same night trip saves a second visit.
Building Nighttime Bonesky after the catch
If you plan to keep this form rather than evolve it immediately, put Potential development into ATK, since that is the stat carrying its damage. The recommended personality is ENTJ, where the N letter’s +5% crit rate stacks directly with Biting Wind. Heartseeker Pendant is the held item that fits that crit-focused direction.

Durability and energy regen are both low here, so it does not sustain back-to-back skill casts. Pair it with a healer or shielder, and with allies that strip ice resistance, such as Geoclaw or Stellarys, to make its ice damage land harder.
Resonance Training unlocks at higher levels — LV 6 at level 55 for one Omnisource Crystal, and LV 7 at level 65 for two. Outside combat, its Hustle mobility skill makes it a reasonable field traversal pick, which is useful given how much of Rosetower Woods you will be crossing on foot.
