The Unicorn is the wall almost every Ride A Pet player hits. It is not sold in a shop, it is not handed out for a quest, and there is no guaranteed path to one. It only comes out of eggs, and the odds on those eggs are brutal. You still need it, because the third Rebirth will not fire without a Unicorn sitting in your ranch.
Quick answer: Repeatedly hatch Solar Eggs or Black Hole Eggs until one yields a Unicorn at 1 in 1T. Keep that pet and $2.5B in your ranch to meet the Rebirth 3 requirements.
Unicorn hatch chance, speed, and income
The Unicorn is a legendary-tier mount, and its numbers are worth knowing before you commit hours to the hunt. It is fast enough to speed up future egg runs and it earns well once it is in a pen.

The two eggs that can hatch a Unicorn
For a Unicorn hunt, only two eggs are worth bringing home. These high-tier spawns appear in the shared map instead of a menu, and each is listed with its value in the Eggs tab of the Index.

Solar Egg
This is the egg you should be chasing most of the time. It is the more common of the two and the easier one to actually find on a normal lap of the map, which makes it the realistic route to a Unicorn. Volume matters more than anything here, so any run that ends with a Solar Egg in a pen is a good run.
Black Hole Egg
A Unicorn can also hatch from the Black Hole Egg, one of the game’s rarest eggs. Like other high-tier spawns, it appears around areas such as the forest paths by the huts. Consider it an extra opportunity: grab one when it appears, but do not wait around for it.
Where to find Solar and Black Hole Eggs: the waterfall cave
Both eggs spawn inside a hidden cave tucked behind the map’s main waterfall, and that cave is the single most reliable place to check. The entrance is not marked — you have to fly straight through the falling water to get in.
How to run the egg loop without losing eggs
You must carry eggs back yourself rather than teleporting them. As soon as an egg enters your basket, the Egg Will Break timer begins; reaching zero before you get to your ranch destroys it. Since this hunt can take hundreds of loops, a slow mount can cost you a valuable high-tier egg.
Ranch-board Luck raises your hatch odds and combines effectively with mutation weather events. Use it while hunting instead of saving it, since Rebirthing removes it.
Rebirth 3 requirements: Unicorn plus $2.5B
The Unicorn is the pet requirement for the third Rebirth, and it has to be in your ranch or inventory when you press the button. The cash requirement runs alongside it.

Every Rebirth raises the money multiplier by +1x, grants another pet slot, and unlocks a different ranch skin. The slot is the most useful reward for this grind, while the unique ranch appearance helps you identify your plot when rushing back with an egg that is cracking.
A Rebirth removes your cash and the Luck purchased from the ranch board, so time the reset accordingly instead of building up either resource beforehand.
Until you have completed the first two Rebirths, keep the Horse and Fox as well as the other required pet. Selling a Rebirth pet forces you to search for it again.
How to confirm the Unicorn hatched
After a successful pull, the pen displays Unicorn [1 in 1T], and the pet appears in your Index. Check the Rebirth panel on the left: its third-Rebirth pet requirement will be complete, leaving the $2.5B total. That panel compares your current cash with the target so you can track your progress.
Afterward, earning money is the main task instead of chasing luck, and the Unicorn supports both parts of the next stage. Its 30,000 base income accrues while it remains in a pen, while its 137K speed shortens every later egg run.
