The only route is finding the right egg in the world, carrying it home before it breaks, and hatching it with your luck stat pushed as high as you can afford.

One billion base speed makes Kitsune the quickest mount available, and its 170 jump is the joint-highest in the game. That combination matters because high-tier eggs spawn on a timer and break if you are too slow getting them back to the ranch. Kitsune is also a progression gate, since Rebirth 5 and Rebirth 6 both require it, at $6.2T and $325T respectively.
For pure earnings it is not the top pick. Dragon sits at 300,000,000 income against Kitsune’s 90,000,000, while Kitsune wins on pace by more than three times. If you are hunting Kitsune, you are buying travel speed and clearing two rebirth rungs at once.
Confirm the egg source in the Index
Before spending hours flying around, open the Index and switch to the Eggs tab. The Cherub Egg entry lists Kitsune as one of its hatches, which is the confirmation that no other egg type will produce it directly.
Switch to the Pets tab in the same menu and you can read the odds line for yourself. Kitsune shows at 1 in 1Qi, sitting between Cerberus and Dragon on the rarity ladder. Those numbers are not something you grind out by volume alone, which is why the luck stat does most of the work.
Cherub Egg and Blackhole Egg spawn locations
Cherub Eggs spawn rarely and rotate between fixed points across the map. The same spots also produce Blackhole Eggs, so a farming loop that covers all of them keeps both egg types flowing. A flying mount is close to mandatory here, since several points sit on cliff faces and summits.

The tree spawns
Two separate points sit on the giant tree. The first is high in the canopy on the branches to the right, and the second is the wooden interior room inside the trunk, tucked into the right-hand corner. They are close enough together that you should always check both in one pass.
The mountain route
Fly to the rocky mountain side and sweep the cliff base along with the grassy ledge beside it. From there, climb to the peak, which does spawn eggs but at a noticeably lower rate. Drop back down to the tree ledge and follow the path that runs along the mountain wall, then push out past the waterfall to the gap in the rock and the exposed ridge beyond it.
The cave, the beach and the pyramid
Dive into the underground cave with the blue glowing river and look for the rock platform inside. That platform is the single most reliable Cherub Egg spot on the map, so it belongs at the front of every lap. Out on the coast, circle the lighthouse, and at the pyramid, swim into the water pool to drop into the tomb below.
Every high-tier egg carries a break countdown timer once you pick it up. If the timer runs out before you reach your ranch, the egg is lost, so plan your route back before you grab it.
Raise Luck at the ranch board before you hatch
Luck is bought from the board inside your ranch, and it is the only lever that meaningfully shifts a 1 in 1Qi hatch. Blackhole Eggs already ask for a luck value above 74,000 to unlock their better outcomes, and pushing past 78,000 widens the drop pool further. Kitsune sits far higher up that scale.
Player testing points at roughly 200K luck as the working threshold for Kitsune pulls, with successful hatches reported after crossing it. That figure is community-tested rather than a stated requirement, so treat it as a target to build toward instead of a guaranteed switch. High luck also does not promise a rare result on any individual egg.
A separate theory suggests a pity mechanic that pays out Kitsune after roughly 50 Cherub or Blackhole Eggs. Nothing confirms it, but counting your hatches costs nothing if you want to test it yourself.
Rebirthing wipes both your cash and the Luck you bought from the board. Hatch your stockpiled eggs before you press Rebirth, not after.

How to confirm you have Kitsune
A successful hatch places Kitsune directly into your ranch, and its entry in the Index Pets tab stops being locked. You can also verify it from the All Items inventory screen, where the pet appears alongside everything else you own. Once it is there, the Rebirth 5 requirement is satisfied.
Equip it, feed it, then ride it. The speed jump over a Phoenix is obvious the moment you move, and that extra pace is what turns the egg circuit above from a slow chore into something you can clear repeatedly. Since Rebirth 6 also demands a Kitsune, the sensible play is to keep hunting rather than selling the one you just pulled.
