The Shrouded Path in Genshin Impact: How to Clear Spiritshot Salvo Stage 1

Where to start, which Spiritshots to pick, and how to bank all three reward tiers on the first stage.

Where to start, which Spiritshots to pick, and how to bank all three reward tiers on the first stage.

The Shrouded Path is the opening stage of Spiritshot Salvo, a brick-breaking minigame inside the Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon event in Genshin Impact 7.1. You fire elemental Spiritshots down a lane, bounce them off the walls, and wipe out waves of evil spirits before a flower-demon boss shows up. Clear all six waves without losing your Vitality bar and you walk away with 50 Primogems plus a stack of leveling materials.

Quick answer: Talk to Wenxun at Yilong Wharf in Chenyu Vale, start The Shrouded Path, then defeat 50 opponents and the boss without emptying your Vitality to unlock all three reward tiers.

Where to start The Shrouded Path

Spiritshot Salvo unlocks after you finish the event world quest Sigil Barrage Kaleidoscope. Once that is done, teleport to the Yilong Wharf waypoint in Chenyu Vale, Liyue, and speak with the thaumaturge Wenxun standing at the stall alongside Mowang. Choosing “Sure, let’s give it a try” opens the stage menu.

From the challenge list, pick stage 1, The Shrouded Path, and press Start. The stage went live on September 24, 2026, and the full event runs through October 12, 2026 (03:59 server time), so there is plenty of time to come back and retry.

Objectives and rewards

The stage has three checkboxes, and each one pays out separately. The first two only ask you to survive and finish. The third is the one people miss, since it requires you to reach the end with Vitality still on the bar. Normal Mode will not kick you out if Vitality hits zero, but you forfeit that tier’s reward if it does.

Enemies you face on this stage

Most of the lane is filled with fodder spirits, but two of them shoot back and one is the stage boss. Knowing which is which helps you decide when to dodge and when to keep firing.

OpponentBehavior
Mindless SpiritCommon crystal-shaped spirit that pushes forward and shields others; attacks in range.
Barrage SpiritFires barrages and becomes dangerous in large groups.
Frenzied Barrage SpiritElite that keeps firing even after reaching the bottom edge. Kill it fast.
Overlord: Bloom of DeceitThe boss. Blinks around, fires barrages, then stops for a heavy AoE cast.

How Spiritshot Salvo works

Your character sits at the bottom of the lane and slides left and right. A yellow aim line shows where each Spiritshot will travel, and shots ricochet off the side walls. You lose Vitality when you touch an enemy, get hit by their barrage, or get hit by a spirit that reaches the boundary line.

Two habits carry the run. Catching or reflecting your own returning shots speeds up your next volley and triggers talisman effects like Chainfire. And Spiritshots in your firing queue automatically pair up, so two elements next to each other fuse into a stronger Twin Spiritshot.

Defeated spirits drop yellow orbs called Spirit Power. Normal spirits drop the round orbs, elites drop diamond-shaped ones. Collect them to fill the level bar at the top of the screen. Every time it fills, the run pauses and hands you a choice of upgrades, either a new or higher-level Spiritshot or a Battle Talisman buff.

You can hold six talismans at once. Some come as elite (element-specific) picks, others as normal picks that boost fire rate, damage, or survivability. Leveling a talisman you already own is usually stronger than grabbing a fresh one at level 1.

Best Spiritshots and talismans for The Shrouded Path

The stage starts with the Pelletstorm Spiritshot spell, which fires 3 extra Basic Spiritshots at the start and adds 25% damage to everything. Your job is to build a strong elemental core on top of that.

For fusions, the Pyro-Electro and Electro-Hydro Spiritshots clear packed groups fastest thanks to their wide AoE. To reach them, take a basic Pyro, Electro, or Hydro shot early and upgrade it. A Pyro-based route works well too, since pairing Pyro with Hydro creates a Vaporizing Pyro-Hydro Spiritshot that scales hard when leveled.

Match your elite talismans to whatever element you commit to. Pair Scorchfire: Incineration with Pyro to boost burn damage, or lean on Boltstrike: Scatterburst if you go Electro. For normal talismans, Fierce Rush and Blast Power cover fire rate and AoE, while Left Attack and Right Attack reward the wall bounces you will be doing constantly.

Elite talismans

TalismanEffect
Scorchfire: IncinerationBurning DMG increased by 150%.
Scorchfire: EruptionPyro Spiritshot CRIT Rate +20%, CRIT DMG +50%.
Boltstrike: ScatterburstElectro shots split into 3 Basic Spiritshots on impact (max 9 per type).
Boltstrike: SurgeElectro-hit foes take 15% more DMG, stacking up to 3 times.
Galehowl: TwinstreamAnemo shots split into 2 on first hit (max 2 extra per type).
Lifewater: Flourishing TideAbove 80% Vitality, DMG, move speed, and fire rate +25%.

Normal talismans

TalismanEffect
Fierce RushBasic Spiritshot damage increases, along with flight speed.
Blast PowerIncreases Spiritshot AoE DMG.
Rapid FireIncreases Spiritshot firing rate.
ChainfireCaught or reflected shots have a chance to split off 1 extra Basic Spiritshot.
Firm StanceStand still 2s to raise fire rate and restore Vitality.
Left / Right AttackMore DMG when hitting a foe’s left or right side.

If your ideal fusion does not appear at the start, don’t panic. You have two extra Spiritshot slots that open up later in the run.

Clearing the stage

Pick your opening element when the challenge begins. Pyro gives strong upfront burst and burn, which makes the early waves quick to clear.
Move left and right to line up shots and catch returning ones. Grab every Spirit Power orb and talisman that drops so your level bar keeps filling.
On your first talisman prompts, favor multi-shot and damage boosts. Fierce Rush and Chainfire keep more projectiles on screen and speed up your volleys.
Unlock a fusion as soon as one is offered. A Pyro-Hydro Spiritshot, for example, deals heavy hit damage and an AoE explosion that applies Vaporize to nearby spirits.

Keep pushing your Basic Spiritshot level between fusion picks. Each rank raises the number of shots per volley, which matters a lot once waves get dense.

Stop any Frenzied Barrage Spirit fast. It keeps firing even after it reaches the bottom edge, so it will chip your Vitality if you leave it alive.

Beating Overlord: Bloom of Deceit

At wave 6 the flower-demon boss spawns at the top of the lane and fires horizontal rows of red barrier projectiles that scroll down toward you. Slide into the gaps between the rows rather than trying to outrun them, and you avoid Vitality loss entirely.

The boss blinks around while attacking, but it holds still whenever it charges its big AoE cast. That pause is your window. Pour continuous fire into it during that moment to burn down its health bar quickly.

Confirming the clear and claiming rewards

When the boss dies, a results screen appears with your clear time and the three objectives ticked off. All three boxes checked, including “Vitality not depleted,” means you qualified for every tier. Open the Challenge Rewards pop-up and press Claim on each tier to collect the Primogems, Festive Cheer, and leveling materials.

If the Vitality box is greyed out, run the stage again and prioritize Firm Stance for its Vitality regen, plus tighter dodging during the boss barrage. The stage stays open for repeat attempts for the whole event window, so nothing is locked out by a single miss.
