Evomon Fish Boss: How to Beat It With Intimidation and Line Breaker

Lead with Intimidation so the boss cannot one-shot your team, then stack Line Breaker to melt its defense fast.

Lead with Intimidation so the boss cannot one-shot your team, then stack Line Breaker to melt its defense fast.

The newest fish boss in Evomon hits hard enough to erase a monster in a single turn, so your opening lineup matters far more than raw damage. The cleanest run pairs two abilities most players already have on hand: one to keep your team alive, and one to end the fight quickly.

Quick answer: Open with a monster that has Intimidation so the boss cannot one-shot your team, then use Line Breaker to drop its defense for a fast kill. Bring two Intimidation users if you can.

How to reach the fish boss encounter

Getting to the fight starts at the Royal Guard, who runs a war trial with a five-fish objective. Interact with the glowing Royal Guard to begin it.

Finishing the interaction completes the shield step and hands over the shards tied to the encounter. Watch for the handover messages to confirm the step registered.

From there, the fight itself begins by reeling in the Tidecrasher Archon through the Poseidon strikes minigame, which shows a reeling progress bar underwater. Keep the bar filling until the boss is hooked.

Lead with Intimidation to survive the first hits

The boss deals heavy damage on its own turns, and the single biggest risk is losing a monster before you get momentum. Leading with a monster that has Intimidation lowers the boss’s attack power the moment the fight starts, which keeps the rest of your lineup from getting wiped.

Stone-type monsters are especially fragile here because the boss can take them out in one hit. Dropping its attack early is what turns those one-shots into survivable damage.

Because the boss can one-tap Stone-type monsters, running two players with Intimidation is the safer setup and makes survival much more reliable.

Use Line Breaker for the fastest kill

Once you are not getting deleted, the goal shifts to ending the fight before it drags on. Line Breaker, or any move that lowers the boss’s defense, shreds through its defensive stat and dramatically speeds up the battle. This is the difference between a quick clear and a grind.

Farm until you obtain Line Breaker before challenging the boss. Without a move that reduces defense, the fight mainly becomes unnecessarily lengthy.

The slower Grass-type and Seed Bomb backup

If you cannot secure a defense-lowering move, Grass-type monsters using Seed Bomb can still bring the boss down. It works, but expect a long, slow fight that leans on chipping away rather than fast pressure. Treat this as a fallback while you gather better tools.

Put together, the reliable plan is simple: open with Intimidation to stay alive, layer Line Breaker to cut the boss’s defense, and keep the Grass and Seed Bomb line in your back pocket only if you are missing the defense debuff. When the boss’s health starts falling fast after a Line Breaker lands, you know the setup is working as intended.
