Keys for Looters are the currency the Looters accept at the Port Club, and you spend them to place orders for crates of tech books, valuables, stories, or seeds. They stack up to 20, cannot be destroyed by accident, and only leave your backpack when you hand them over. The quickest way to build a supply is to win sewer fights in the center of Town.

The lowest-effort route runs through the combat squad standing beside the sewer entrance in the middle of Town, near the fortified stone wall and campfire. Sewer Brawl I needs only about 8 total power to clear, and winning drops 3 keys straight into your inventory.
Fights in higher tiers become much harder. Since Sewer Brawl II requires 2 squads and at least 24 defense power, finish the easier brawl before you take it on.
Every battle that rewards Keys for Looters
Combat is the main source. Several set battles each pay a fixed 3 keys, while the sewer arena fights pay much more per clear.

The Sewerena arena fights are the highest payout, giving anywhere from 4 to 10 keys per clear depending on the encounter. The final arena fight has no completion condition, so it appears to stay open and keep paying out on repeat runs.
Buy them from the Jeweler
If you would rather pay than fight, the town Jeweler sells keys once you have built the shop and raised it to its second tier. The base price is 1 silver each.
- Tier II Jeweler stocks 3 keys per week.
- Tier III Jeweler stocks 10 keys.
- The Jeweler also buys keys back for 75 bronze at its usual stock.
How to confirm you have them and where to spend them
Open your Character inventory and hover over the item. The tooltip shows “Keys for Looters” and explains that the Looters can receive an order through the Port Club; the stack count tells you how many you have. This verifies that the pickup registered.
Take the keys to the Port Club near the southeastern docks. On a Lust day, Davy the Dagger accepts an order for a crate in three sizes, costing 1, 2, or 4 keys for a small, medium, or big order. The crate turns up in the club roughly one in-game day later, and you can only have one order open at a time.
Your very first key goes toward the Love Novel during the Wharf Rats quest, which also opens up the ordering system in the first place. After that, everything you earn from brawls, the arena, or the Jeweler feeds directly into those Looter crates.
