You cannot start the hidden sequence until the standard 2014 challenge is finished, and the whole event closes on September 28, 2026, so both parts need to be done inside that window.

The base quest has two simple parts. Talk to the NPC near the 2014 event area to run the timed race across the map, using the yellow-striped speed boosts to sprint back to the start. After that, play normal MM2 rounds and walk into the gold coins that spawn each match until you reach 50 coins total.

Coin progress carries between rounds, so dying does not reset your count, and you can keep collecting in the next match. There is a cap of 40 coins per run, meaning the fastest anyone finishes is two rounds. The Elite gamepass raises your coin bag size and can push the total to 50 in a single match, but it is not required.

Once you hit 50, the badge unlocks automatically and you return to the main Hunt hub to claim the UGC reward at the 2014 checkpoint. Knife-Dodger’s Bighead lands on your Roblox avatar, not in your MM2 inventory, so check the avatar editor rather than your knife or gun loadout.

The hub redeems rewards in chronological order. If the 2014 claim will not complete, an earlier era challenge (2005 through 2013) still needs finishing first.

Run the secret sequence on the Bank map

With the base badge cleared, the secret sequence begins during a normal round on a specific map. Each action has to be done in the exact order below, and it all happens on the Bank map.

When map voting opens, select the Bank map. The secret interactions only exist here, so a different map means the sequence cannot start.

Get hold of the gun. Either spawn as the Sheriff, or pick up the dropped gun after the Sheriff has been eliminated. You need it for the pile shots and the round finish.

Pass through the large circular door into the vault’s money room. Fire at the green Robux pile, followed by the gold pile; shooting them in this sequence is essential.

Press the green button mounted on the wall next to the vault area.

Shoot the murderer with your gun to bring the round to a close.

Trigger the boss fight in the lobby

The final part moves back to the main MM2 lobby, where a hidden chat interaction starts the boss encounter.

Return to the lobby and walk up the stone ramp of the brick building. Stand facing the center wooden door set between the two dark window sections.

While positioned at the door, bring up chat and enter the secret command five times. Completing all five entries initiates the boss fight.

Defeat the boss. Clearing the fight is the action that awards the secret badge.

Confirm the badge unlocked

After the boss is beaten, the badge should register on your account. If it does not appear right away, leave and rejoin the game, then check your inventory again to verify it landed. A short delay or a fresh session is usually enough to confirm the unlock.

Deadline: complete it before September 28

The Hunt: Roblox 20 takes place from September 17 through September 28, 2026, and finishes at 10 AM PT. After the event ends, the quest, checkpoint, and rewards are no longer obtainable; any reward left unclaimed past the deadline cannot be retrieved.
