Finding it comes down to reaching one cliff-edge spot and dealing with a level gap before you throw a single Anipod.

Highland Form Cornet location in Breezy Plains

Highland Form Cornet hovers above an open field on the northeast cliff edge of Breezy Plains, right next to Zephyrus Landbridge. The precise spot is map coordinates 0289, 1938. Open the world map, drop a Custom Marker there, and track it so you can path straight to the edge instead of wandering the plateau.

This corner of Breezy Plains sits at a high level band. Zephyrus Landbridge covers a level range of 47 to 57, so the creatures roaming nearby are strong, and Highland Form Cornet is no exception. Expect to arrive here well after you have cleared the earlier plains content.

How to catch Highland Form Cornet

Fast travel to Breezy Plains and move to the marked cliff edge at 0289, 1938. Look up to spot the Highland Form Cornet flying above the clearing.

Assess your level before engaging. The wild Cornet in this area is a high-level target, and the game marks it as too strong for you, advising you to level up and return to catch it. Raising your party’s level first improves your chances and prevents wasted throws.

Lock onto the flying Cornet and throw an Anipod. Anipod Mega, Anipod Hyper, and Anipod Track all work, and the capture ring will show a chance value each time you aim. Because the target is overpowered, those percentages stay low, so bring several of each.

Keep throwing through the failed attempts. The catch can miss several times in a row, but an Anipod Mega will eventually lock it in and complete the capture.

If you prefer higher odds, weaken Cornet in combat first. It is a Grass and Wind type, and the game recommends bringing Helion for a combat advantage against it.

Confirming the capture

A successful throw opens the No. 009 Highland Form Cornet card, listing its Nova Stage, its DPS and Take Off roles, and its Grass and Wind element. The capture grants 150 Exp and awards the badge “Straight Into Pocket.” Seeing the card entry unlock is the sign it worked, and it fills that slot in your Aniilog.
