Pearl needs almost no vertical investment to work. Her floor is high even at Eidolon 0, so a clean set of gear and the right stat targets matter far more than pulling copies.

Colors for Tomorrow is the cleanest fit. At S1 it raises Pearl’s DEF by 48%, and after she uses her Elation Skill on the team it heals everyone for 10% of her DEF, restores flat Energy, and makes enemies take 10% more damage for three turns. Each additional Elation ally pushes that vulnerability higher, reaching 22% in a full four-Elation squad. The DEF boost alone makes hitting her 2,400 threshold trivial.
Until the Flowers Bloom Again is the standout replacement if you happen to own a spare. It stacks CRIT DMG and Energy Regeneration for the wearer, hands allies a chunk of CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, and refunds Energy each wave, covering several of the stats Pearl wants at once.
Mushy Shroomy’s Adventures is a solid low-cost pick. It supplies a flat Elation boost and makes foes more vulnerable to Elation damage after she activates her Elation Skill. Since it lacks the massive DEF bonus, equip a DEF% Body if her healing is underwhelming. Elation Brimming With Blessings is also usable if you already own it, but its ATK stat does nothing for her.

Dreamlit Actor is her best complete set. Its two-piece bonus provides 6% SPD; with all four pieces, an ally gains 16% Elation when Pearl directs her Skill or Ultimate at them. At 10 or more Certified Banger, the set additionally gives every teammate 12% CRIT DMG. A standard rotation meets both requirements: her Ultimate selects one ally, and Banger accumulates passively.
Diviner of Distant Reach is a reasonable stand-in, but its personal CRIT Rate does nothing for a sustain, and its team Elation buff does not stack with a second wearer. Since current Elation teams already run Yao Guang, who uses the set better, keep Diviner on her instead of Pearl. Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is worth a look with characters like Silver Wolf LV.999 or Aventurine • Waveflair, who turn the extra 12% SPD directly into more Elation.
Sprightly Vonwacq is the default ornament. It adds 5% Energy Regeneration and advances her first action by 40% at 120 SPD, which she reaches easily. Broken Keel is the pick when your team would rather have 10% CRIT DMG than more Energy, and Pearl’s 10% Effect RES from traces makes its 30% activation threshold simple to hit through substats.

Pearl wants as many Elation allies as possible. Her Ultimate’s action advance climbs from 10% at one Elation character to 30% at three, and at four or more it converts into a full bonus turn for her chosen ally. Yao Guang is close to mandatory. Her Skill Zone passes Elation to every ally, which directly feeds the Elation damage Pearl’s buffed carry deals. Elation Trailblazer is the accessible fourth slot, since their Ultimate can trigger an ally’s Elation Skill and hand out Certified Banger.
The one real decision each fight is who becomes the Aesthetic Archetype through her Ultimate, because Pearl’s damage scales off that ally rather than herself. Silver Wolf LV.999 is the strongest target, as she turns the Punchline burst into Energy and CRIT, and Pearl’s Ultimate lines up with hers to effectively grant back-to-back turns. Evanescia and Aventurine • Waveflair are excellent picks as well, while Yao Guang is a fine choice if you mainly want to accelerate her Ultimates.
How to play Pearl in a rotation
Before entering combat, activate her Technique with your main carry on the field to ensure Deep Learning goes to the correct ally. During the fight, use her Ultimate often to renew Deep Learning and either move that carry forward or give them a turn. Turn to her Skill when healing is needed or her Certified Banger stock is nearly empty; it replenishes her healing and shield reserves together.
Point her Ultimate at an Elation carry, not a secondary support. Only an Elation Aesthetic Archetype triggers the stronger Enhanced Basic ATK and returns 90 flat Energy to Pearl through her Aesthetic Firewall trace.
