The second segment of Grow a Garden’s 2026 Fall Market Event added Enfield, a Prismatic pet. It can hatch only from the Autumn Egg, where it is the least likely outcome. Rather than improving harvests like most pets, its passive alters the aging of every other pet in your garden, making it a specialized tool instead of an everyday companion.
Quick answer: Hatch Autumn Eggs. Enfield has a 0.5% hatch chance, so collect as many eggs as you can from Fall Activity Rewards and the Acorn Chaos event, then hatch them and hope for the Enfield.
Where the Autumn Egg comes from
The Autumn Egg is the single source of Enfield. You cannot buy Enfield directly from any shop, and you cannot get the egg outside the Fall Market Event. There are two ways to collect Autumn Eggs while the event is running.
Fall Activity Rewards
Completing a Fall Activity quest adds 20 Fall Energy to the seasonal reward track. Autumn Eggs are Mythical-tier rewards, obtainable when you reach 250, 350, and 500 Fall Energy. Once you pass 500, every further 500 Fall Energy earned grants another reward.
Acorn Chaos event
Acorn Chaos runs every 30 minutes and lasts five minutes. Acorns fall around the map, and you break them with a shovel to claim rewards. Rarer acorns are harder to find but hand over more eggs at once.

Run both methods at once. Keep completing Fall Activities for steady Fall Energy while watching the Acorn Chaos timer, since a single Gold Acorn hands you five eggs in one go.
Hatching for Enfield and its odds
Each Autumn Egg takes 4 hours to hatch. Pets with egg-hatching abilities can cut that wait down. Once it opens, the egg gives one of four pets, and Enfield is by far the least likely result.

At half a percent, most players will open many eggs before Enfield appears. There is no way to raise that chance, so a large stockpile of Autumn Eggs is your only real advantage. You know it worked when the hatch animation finishes and Enfield lands in your inventory as a Prismatic pet.
What Everlasting Fall does
Enfield’s passive, Everlasting Fall, triggers every 30 minutes and affects all pets in your garden other than Enfields. Each pet’s level determines the outcome.
- For pets under Level 250, the roll gives a 15% chance to gain 1 level. A failed roll instead removes 3 levels.
- A pet at Level 250 or above has a 4% chance of gaining the exclusive Everfallen Pet Mutation, resetting it to Level 1. On an unsuccessful roll, it instead loses 100 levels.
The ability picks targets at random from your active garden pets. If you leave valuable pets out while an Enfield is placed, they can take the penalty without warning.
A single failed Level 250 roll drops a pet to Level 150, which removes it from mutation eligibility and can undo a large amount of grinding in one cycle.
The Everfallen mutation and why Enfield exists
At present, Enfield’s ability is the only way to obtain the Everfallen Pet Mutation; no other method is available. This is the main reason collectors hold on to an Enfield despite the risk. The mutation resets the pet to Level 1, while leaving it with a permanent passive boost.
Because that failed roll costs 100 levels, the safe practice is to never gamble a pet sitting at exactly Level 250. Higher starting levels absorb failures while staying eligible.

A pet at Level 450 or higher survives two consecutive failures and stays above the 250 threshold, which is why those levels are the practical target zone for mutation attempts.
How to run Enfield safely
For most veteran gardeners, Enfield is not something to leave in a main garden. Its gamble can erase progress on high-investment pets. Treated as a specialist, though, it is the only pet that unlocks Everfallen, so keeping one in an isolated plot lets you chase that mutation on your own terms while protecting everything else you have leveled.
