Infinitely Dense
Reel in 30 fish weighing over 186,000 kg apiece with the rod. Its unlimited weight capacity lets it handle any catch, so keep hooking fish heavy enough to advance the tally to 30. The reward is a permanent +40% Weight Boost enhancement for the rod.
Gifts from the Event Horizon
Trigger a triplication from the rod’s passive three times. Triplication happens through the Singularity mutation’s duplicate effect: a Singularity-mutated catch has a 10% chance to duplicate, and a duplicated fish then has a further 25% chance to duplicate again. Keep fishing until the passive triples a catch three separate times. This grants a +1% to +2% Forced Progress Speed per second enhancement.
Stellar Abyss
Use the rod to land 287 fish in the Big size category. The count includes only catches that fall within the Big bracket. Finish the task to earn the Event Horizon Bobber.
Gravitational Collapse
Accumulate a total of 2,870% Forced Progress Speed through the rod’s passive. While a fish sits inside the fishing bar, the rod grants +1% Forced Progress Speed per second, and those gains add up across catches until you reach the total. The reward is a +200 Durability and +4 Disturbance enhancement.
The grand reward: Platinum Reverie skin
Once all four quests are done, you claim the Platinum Reverie skin for the Rod of the Singularity. It is the mastery-exclusive grand reward and cannot be obtained any other way.
The rod’s passive slows the fishing bar by 90% while you are on the fish and speeds it up by 50% while you are off it, so the reeling minigame feels inverted compared to other rods. Getting comfortable with that behavior makes the weight and Big-fish quests far faster.

The rod also rolls mutations that help with the weight quest: a 25.92% chance for Nova (6×), a 20% chance for Umbra (9×), and an 18.54% chance for Singularity (10.618×). Catching a Singularity or Umbra fish multiplies its final weight by 1.286×, which pushes more catches over the 186,000 kg threshold.
Confirming a quest is done
Each quest tracks its own counter, and the reward enhancement or item is applied to the rod as soon as the objective is met. When all four are complete, the Platinum Reverie skin becomes available to equip, which is the clearest sign the full mastery track is finished.
