The lab on the second floor of Roblox Animal Hospital lets you extract DNA from patients and make serums with unusual effects. Toss pink serums at patients or NPCs, and drink green ones yourself. Recipes use four ingredients arranged into a three-letter code; enter the right combination to avoid an explosion.
Quick answer: Sample a patient, sequence the sample, then feed three ingredients in order (A = Pink Jelly, C = Ginger, G = Milk, T = Purple Mushroom). A valid code starts a 30-second timer before you press the vial.

Unlock the lab and gather the four ingredients
In normal play, finishing your first Ambulance Event shift (Shift 5) unlocks the lab upstairs. Start a run with skip-tutorial mode, and the second floor is open right away, allowing returning players to avoid Dr. Harlow’s visits. Find the staircase among the ground-floor shelves near the back, around aisles 6 to 8.
Inside, four shelves hold the ingredients, each labeled with a single letter. Every recipe uses three of these letters in a set order.
| Letter | Ingredient |
|---|---|
| A | Pink Jelly |
| C | Ginger |
| G | Milk |
| T | Purple Mushroom |
A sample from a healthy patient is pink, whereas one from an anomaly is green. That color tells you whether the resulting serum can be thrown (pink) or must be drunk (green).

Pink serum recipes (thrown at patients)
Pink serums come from healthy-patient samples. Throw them at a target to apply the effect. The most disruptive pick is T-T-T, which turns the patient into a Mimic that starts attacking.
| Code | Effect |
|---|---|
| A-A-A | Shrinks the patient |
| A-C-A | Gives the patient or NPC hair |
| C-C-C | Patient rapidly produces slime |
| A-G-A | Adds three eyes that drain your Sanity when looked at |
| C-G-C | Makes the patient dance on the spot |
| C-A-G | Makes the patient slightly faster |
| G-C-G | Makes the patient glow |
| G-G-G | Turns the patient into a fish |
| G-A-C | Patient constantly changes color |
| G-A-T | Sets the patient on fire |
| T-A-G | Turns the patient invisible |
| T-T-C | Makes the patient walk much slower |
| C-T-T | Makes the patient walk much faster |
| T-T-T | Turns the patient into a Mimic or reveals one |
You can also load three Maple Syrups into the tray to create a bomb rather than a serum.

Green serum recipes (drunk by you)
Green serums come from anomaly-patient samples and are consumables. Several of them apply stat buffs that build up to a cap when you drink multiples in a single run.
| Code | Effect |
|---|---|
| T-G-C | -5 detection radius (max 30%) |
| T-T-A | +5% chance to dodge damage (max +15%) |
| G-G-A | +5% speed multiplier (max +150%) |
| C-C-A | +5-second delay before Sanity damage (max +20s) |
| C-G-T | Makes you dance |
| A-T-A | Shrinks you |
| G-T-G | Turns you into a ghost |
| A-C-C | Drains your Sanity |
| C-A-C | Turns you into the Clown |
| A-G-G | Decreases your walk speed |
| A-C-G | Shows the message “you drank a strange serum” |
Drinking a C-G-T serum completes the “Green Experiment” achievement in the Journal, morphing your character into a dancing rabbit. Any code not listed above tends to be unstable and often catches fire instead of producing a usable vial.

How to confirm a serum worked
A successful mix is easy to verify. The dish begins a 30-second countdown the moment you feed the third correct ingredient, and the culture grows during that window. Once the timer ends, the Vial Press dispenses a finished glass vial, colored pink or green depending on the sample you started with.
A failed mix does the opposite. Unstable combinations do not start the timer and usually explode instead of producing anything. When that happens, restart from the sequencing step with a fresh sample. Since a few codes such as C-A-C, G-T-G, and T-C-T have been reported on both working and unstable lists, treat the in-game result as final and adjust if a mix fails on your build.
