The Secret Fusion Room sits across a bridge that only appears when you stand in the right spot and play the Cricket Banjo. Getting there means clearing every step of the Enchanted Forest chain first, since nothing in the game points you toward the room once you qualify. Here is the full route from the Wisp quests to the hidden fusion area.
Quick answer: Unlock the Enchanted Tree through the Wisp quests, get the Cricket Banjo from the mushroom-room puzzle, then play it while standing between the yellow crystals opposite the large hall to spawn the bridge.

What you need before starting
Three things gate the room. You cannot skip any of them, and they must be done in order.
| Requirement | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| 50B Speed | Needed to enter the Enchanted Forest and spawn the Wisp |
| Enchanted Tree unlocked | The whole route runs through its interior |
| Cricket Banjo | Raises the bridge to the Secret Fusion Room |
The 50B Speed threshold is the highest gate in the game. Below it, the Lion guardian catches you and the Wisp will not appear at all, so there is no way to begin the chain early.

The yellow Wisp spawns near the entrance of the Enchanted Forest, marked by a yellow circle around the recommended-speed board. Talk to it to open the Grow Your Wisp tracker, which grows the Wisp from stage 1 to stage 4 across three quests.

The exact quest counts can differ between in-game versions, with some trackers showing a different egg or fusion number. Treat whatever your own Grow Your Wisp panel displays as final.
Reach the mushroom room inside the Enchanted Tree
A memory puzzle guards the Cricket Banjo, which you need before the bridge will appear. Its portal is suspended above the main floor, making a search around the tree’s base fruitless.

Solve the mushroom memory puzzle
Inside the chamber sit five colored mushrooms around a closed wooden door. They light up in a sequence, and you repeat it by hitting them in the same order. The sequence grows from 2 up to 5 mushrooms as you progress.
There is no fixed color code to copy. The order changes per player, so a sequence taken from anywhere else will fail. A music note travels from one mushroom to the next, so follow the note’s path to read the order, then hit each mushroom in turn. Keep tracking every color as the chain lengthens rather than restarting from the newest clue. A wrong press darkens the room and resets the sequence.
Once you complete the full sequence, the wooden door swings open into the band room.

Collect the Cricket Banjo from Jitterbug
Past the doorway, an insect ensemble plays drums, banjo, and double bass on a stage. Speak to Jitterbug, a grasshopper playing banjo, to receive the Cricket Banjo and the Jitterbug Egg.
Keep the Cricket Banjo in your inventory. Reaching the band room alone does nothing for the bridge. You have to carry the banjo back to the top of the tree and play it in the correct spot.
Raise the bridge to the Secret Fusion Room
With the banjo in hand, this last stretch is the quickest part of the route.

Once the bridge has finished forming and can support you over the gap, cross into the Secret Fusion Room. If the bridge does not appear, check that you picked up the Cricket Banjo from Jitterbug, equipped it, then played it between the two yellow crystals.
