The Purifying Forest in Altgard holds six regional quests for Asmodian players, strung along the forest’s recovering altars and the Spirit Guides who tend them. Recommended levels run from 27 to 45, and clearing all six pays out 11,118,421 experience in total, on top of titles, crafting materials and accessories.

Quick answer: There are six Asmodian regional quests here. Grab them from Viron, Reden, Cortis, Ivan and Uru around the Guide Rest Stop, Healing Spring and Faded Stump, then turn each one back in to the same Spirit Guide or merchant who gave it.

Each of these quests hands over one Wisdom Stone (Bound) and one Daevanion Crystal (Bound) alongside the items listed below, so those two are left out of the table to keep it readable. Kina, experience, titles and the extra pieces vary by quest.

Fight Poison with Poison

Fight Poison with Poison comes first among these quests, is recommended for level 27, and starts with Spirit Guide Viron at the Guide Rest Stop. Spiders have bitten and poisoned the other members of his patrol, and the group lacks enough ingredients to prepare an antidote. The cure depends on the same thing that caused the poisoning.

To finish it, defeat 8 Withered Branch Spider and gather their poison sacs, then return to Viron at the Guide Rest Stop to hand them over. As he explains the plan, “You have to fight poison with poison, so all we need is a spider’s poison sac.” The quest closes once Viron confirms you brought back more than enough to treat everyone.

Her Last Favor

Her Last Favor is a level 30 quest given by Reden at the Healing Spring, and it carries the heaviest story of the group. Before Grisilla went into the roots of the Sacred Tree, she left Reden the key to a hideout sheltering young Elim who had lost their homes to the Dragon Lord’s Poison Blood. With the Poison Blood now cleared from the tree’s roots, Reden fears the barrier protecting the children has weakened.

Go alongside Reden to Grisilla’s Hideout and inspect the young Elim; following Grisilla’s instructions, they have taken shelter behind the barrier over the altar. Once the mutants are driven away, report back to Reden at Odar’s Shade, now the Elim’s new home. Eirik will care for the children, carrying out Grisilla’s last request.

Restless Spirits

Restless Spirits is recommended for level 45 and comes from the Spirit Guide Cortis at the Healing Spring. The Water Mist Spirits near the Water Altar have grown agitated, and Cortis blames the Unruly Slime and Cursed Poison Blood gathering around them. He needs the nuisances gone before the spirits boil over into a frenzy.

Clear the area by defeating 5 Unruly Slime and 10 Cursed Poison Blood, then report back to Cortis at the Healing Spring. He notes the Water Mist Spirits have already calmed down once the threats are dealt with.

Regular Altar Maintenance

Regular Altar Maintenance takes the most time among the forest quests, is recommended for level 45, and begins by speaking with Ivan at the Faded Stump. In charge of the four restored altars, Ivan has discovered that several are growing weak again and wants to inspect every site, a task he cannot manage by himself. Finish the route at the Wind Altar after checking all four.

Travel to the Water Altar and purify it. This is the first site Ivan wants checked.
Talk to Ivan to learn the altar’s exact condition. He confirms it has grown weak from the Cursed Poison Blood crowding around it.
Defeat 7 Cursed Poison Blood near the Water Altar to remove what is draining its power.
Speak to Ivan again to confirm the Water Altar has recovered.
Move to the Earth Altar and purify it. Ivan finds this one in good shape.
Head to the Fire Altar and purify it. Ivan notes it is as weak as the Water Altar was.
Talk to Ivan to hear the cause this time, which he ties to Poison Blood Clots.
Destroy 8 Poison Blood Clot to restore the Fire Altar’s energy.
Report to Ivan that the Fire Altar has been dealt with.
Go to the Wind Altar and purify it, then speak to Ivan there to complete the quest. With all four altars safely examined, he thanks you and hopes to check on them together again.

Spacetime Rift quests from Uru

Two level 45 quests come from Uru of the Quai Merchants at the Guide Rest Stop, and both send you through a rift into Verteron before you return to Altgard to report. The Spacetime Rift opens at random spots at set times, can be tracked on the map, and a server-wide message fires whenever one appears.

Because both quests require passing through the rift, line them up with a rift window so you can clear the Verteron targets in a single trip.

Spacetime Rift: Difference Between Here and There

Difference Between Here and There has Uru chasing a comparison between goods on each side of the rift. He wants an item that exists both beyond the rift and in Altgard so he can judge how different the two versions are. Defeat 9 Aullaeu Forest Odyle Spider in Verteron for their thread, then return to Altgard and talk to Uru, who immediately starts researching the samples.

Spacetime Rift: Developing Travel Goods

Developing Travel Goods has Uru planning hunting tours for players who want to track down the strange creatures on the far side of the rift. To prep the tour he needs field information on the local wildlife. Defeat 9 Highland Giant Sparkie and Highland Sparkie in Verteron, then head back to Altgard and report to Uru, who is confident the tours will take off.

How to know a quest is done

Each quest closes the moment you hand it back to its giver. Viron, Reden, Cortis, Ivan and Uru all end their conversations with a thank-you line, and the rewards drop into your inventory at that point. The kill-count quests only let you turn in once the full tally is met, so if Ivan or Cortis has nothing new to say, finish clearing the remaining Cursed Poison Blood, Poison Blood Clot, Unruly Slime, Withered Branch Spider or rift targets first.
