Urugugu Canyon is a group dungeon centered on the Aullaeu tribe, devotees of Ishtar, the Crimson Dragon Lord. Its three level 30 bosses and the reward cube that spawns after their defeat provide Epic gear, Balaur upgrade materials, and an Amplify Stone Fragment.

Quick answer: Urugugu Canyon is a 2–5 player dungeon with a 60-minute limit. Its three level 30 bosses — Guardian Captain Raur, Judge Urahum and Divine Auldor — drop Divine Canyon and Faith Epic gear, Balaur materials and an Amplify Stone Fragment.

Entry requirements for Urugugu Canyon

The dungeon runs with a party of 2 to 5 players and a 60-minute time limit. The level and item-level you need depends on the difficulty you pick.

DifficultyLevel requiredItem level required
Exploration28300
Conquest451,400

The final boss needs at least two players present. Its group-soak attack cannot be survived alone, so you can clear most of the dungeon solo but not Divine Auldor.

Route through the canyon

The run moves from Urugugu Village up through Windy Valley and Urugugu Temple, then into Auldor’s Sanctum for the final fight. Wind currents carry you over the gaps, so clearing the right enemies to open them is part of the path.

Enter at Urugugu Village and bind to the Kibelisk on the path. Kibelisks act as respawn and fast-travel points, so touch each one you pass to unlock a direct teleport to that area.

Clear the village packs and defeat the two mini-bosses, Guardian Captain Raur and Judge Urahum. Beating both adds each of their loot pools to the reward cube, so take them both down rather than skipping one.

Ride the windstreams and updrafts up through the canyon gorge. Defeating the wind mages and totems opens the currents you glide along, so you cannot cross until those are down.

Fight through the temple approach, where Urugugu Gladiators guard the stone gateway and cave entrance. Bind at the Urugugu Temple Kibelisk before pushing inside.

In the Exploration version, destroy the Auldor Sanctum Gatekeeper and use the nearby kibelisk to lift the seal on Divine Auldor’s chamber. The construct blocks the sanctum route until it is down.

Enter Auldor’s Sanctum and wait for the whole party before engaging, so nobody is locked out. Defeat Divine Auldor to finish the run; an Expedition Complete popup confirms the clear and the Odyle Energy Cube appears for loot.

Divine Auldor fight basics

Divine Auldor is a holy bird called forth by the tribe’s shamans. Tempest Strike is the key group soak in this battle: Auldor takes flight and places an eye marker on one player before crashing down onto them. The blow kills a player who takes it alone, so everyone should gather on the marked target to share the damage.

Tornadoes sweep through the arena continuously, binding anyone they catch and chiefly preventing players from getting to the stack in time. If one takes hold of you, use your crowd-control-break key immediately. In Conquest, the boss enrages after about 5 minutes; it then moves and deals much heavier hits. Exploration has no enrage.

Guardian Captain Raur and Judge Urahum drops

The two mini-bosses share an identical loot table. Both drop Divine Canyon Epic gear, Balaur upgrade materials and a slice of the Faith set, alongside refining stones and the Amplify Stone Fragment.

Divine Auldor drops

The final boss leans on the Faith set and the heavier Balaur materials. Its Faith pieces drop at better rates than the mini-bosses’, and it pays out a guaranteed Silentium and Enhance Stone on the clear.

What the gear is worth

The Faith set is tier 2 Epic gear at item level 33, requiring level 30, with three manastone slots per piece and binding when obtained. Its armor pieces top out at mid-table defense: Faith Boots sit at Defense 159, the 21st-highest value among 147 Shoes, well below the 504 on the Splendent Ebony Dragon Lord Boots and Splendent Wise Dragon Lord Boots. Faith Breastplate’s Defense 239 is the 20th-highest of 147 chest pieces, trailing the 756 Splendent Ebony and Splendent Wise Dragon Lord Breastplates.

The Faith Greatsword carries Max Attack 191, the 20th-highest among 83 greatswords, behind the 604 shared by Ludra’s Blade of Extinction and the two Splendent Dragon Lord greatswords. It is the only Faith weapon with a theostone slot in addition to its three manastone slots.

Brave Warrior Earrings are the accessory worth chasing from the mini-bosses, dropping at 5.2% from both Guardian Captain Raur and Judge Urahum. The Epic earrings give Attack 42 and Defense 100, placing their defense 21st among 60 earrings, behind the 315 on the Splendent Ebony Dragon Lord Earrings and Splendent Wise Dragon Lord Earrings.

Beyond the gear, every boss has a 20% chance at an Amplify Stone Fragment, a bound Unique upgrade item, plus Balaur’s Essence and the Hard Balaur Scale, Leather and Horn materials that feed crafting and upgrades. Refining stones and the guaranteed Soul Codex, Silentium and Enhance Stone round out what a clean clear puts in the reward cube.
