A recent change to VV Ultimatum lets Arrancar players carry a Resurrección (Res) weapon and the Los Lobos dual pistols on the same character, cycling between them during a fight. That single change is what makes a faithful Dante-style loadout possible, pairing a two-handed sword with twin guns in the way the Devil May Cry character fights.

Quick answer: You can now equip both a Res weapon and Los Lobos at the same time and switch between sword and pistols in real time using the Switch Weapon prompt, including swapping sword fighting styles between swings.

What the weapon swap changes

Before this update, a Res weapon and Los Lobos were an either-or choice. Now they sit on the same character, and a Switch Weapon input flips you between melee and firearms without leaving combat. The sword used in the Dante setup is a custom Rebellion skin, a two-handed greatsword, while Los Lobos supplies the dual silver pistols.

The swap also covers fighting styles on the sword itself, so you can rotate stances mid-combo rather than committing to one. In practice that means opening with ranged pistol pressure, closing the gap, and finishing with sword combos, then rotating back out to guns.

A WEAPON LOCKED prompt can appear in place of Switch Weapon, so swapping is not available at every moment of a match.

What Los Lobos is in VV Ultimatum

Los Lobos is a Legendary-rarity Arrancar Element, and the rarest one Arrancar players can obtain. It drops only from rerolling your current Element with Ability Tokens, at a 1% chance per roll, and only Arrancar characters can unlock it. It is built around dual firearms rather than a melee weapon, which is why it slots so neatly alongside a sword in the new dual-wield setup. You can find the game itself on its Roblox listing.

In its full form, Los Lobos transforms the character into a winged state and brings in wolf-pack spirit attacks. The transformation plays as a short cutscene, launching the player into the air surrounded by reiatsu before the winged, gun-focused fighting begins.

Los Lobos moves by Res stage

The moves you have access to depend on whether you have unlocked Partial Res or Full Res. Partial Res centers on ammo management and single-pistol fire, while Full Res replaces that with the wolf summons.

Partial Res

MoveTypeEffect
Ammo ChargesPassive+3 Blue Bullets (Left Gun), +1 Orange Bullet (Right Gun); recharge on cooldown
Overheat MeterPassivePistol use fills the meter; at 60%+ a move swaps your guns and leaves you vulnerable
Left GunAttackFires a tracking bullet; uses 1 Blue Bullet
Right GunAttackSingle ranged blast; uses 1 Orange Bullet
Shotgun BlastRight GunSplits into three tracking projectiles; needs Reiatsu Efficiency level 4

Full Res

MoveRequirementEffect
Soul PartitionFull ResSummons three wolves; changes M1/M2 and disables Left/Right Gun while active
Call of the WildSoul Partition activeSends one wolf to attack, then it despawns
CamillaSoul Partition activeSlash forward while the wolves attack
Cero Metraletta100% Ability LevelA barrage of shots while closing on the enemy

How Cero Metraletta unlocks and activates

Cero Metraletta is the capstone move and one of the stronger options for Arrancar play. Unlocking it requires reaching 100% Ability Level on Los Lobos, which climbs as you use the Element’s abilities in combat. Every 10% of Ability Level grants one Ability Point, and rerolling an ability keeps the Ability Level while resetting the upgrades.

To fire it, you must be in Res mode. Each successful M1 hit charges a hidden meter, and when it is ready you will hear a wolf howl as the audio cue. The default keybind is Control plus right-click, and it can be remapped in the keybind settings like any other input.

The Dante build in ranked play

The combined loadout is built to mimic Dante, using the white-haired, red-coated avatar with a wide-brimmed hat, the Rebellion greatsword skin, and the Los Lobos pistols. The look comes from personal avatar assets, while the sword skin and transformation are in-game items. A sample character running the setup showed roughly 1,517 Health, 1,785 Reiatsu, 95 Posture, and 96 Shunpo Stamina at Level 150 Arrancar.

An overworld duel opens the demonstration, with the dual-gun and sword combos tested against another player in the open world before moving into matchmaking.

From there the build goes into the Ranked 1v1 queue, where placements reset to 0/8 before you climb. The matches shown ran against opponents in Gold I and Gold II, each using a different archetype, which is a useful stress test for a hybrid loadout that has to answer both ranged and melee pressure.

Sword combos take down the first opponent, an Arrancar user, who then requests a rematch. For the next round, the loadout opens with pistols; guard breaks follow, and a switch back to the sword finishes the fight—a clear demonstration of the swap under pressure.

A second rematch against the same player focuses on swapping sword styles between hits, ending the round with clean combos rather than guns.

Not every matchup goes the build’s way. A Quincy and Kido user who fights at range forces a Los Lobos transformation but takes the win, showing the loadout can struggle against sustained ranged attacks.

A Gold II axe fighter also wins the first meeting despite a Los Lobos activation, before a requeue produces a rematch that the sword combos and parries finally close out.

A Halloween Infected mode is on the way

A Halloween update is planned, bringing a Call of Duty-style “Infected” mode. The developers have yet to confirm an official date, so its timing remains unknown until they announce one.

For now, the practical takeaway is simpler. Los Lobos gives Arrancar players the pistols, the dual-wield update lets those pistols coexist with a Res weapon, and together they make a sword-and-gun hybrid like the Dante loadout a real option in both the overworld and ranked 1v1.
