Try To Reach The Final Island: How the Roblox Speed Simulator Works

Stack passive gain, shorten the tick interval, and fly farther to push your Speed stat higher each session.

Stack passive gain, shorten the tick interval, and fly farther to push your Speed stat higher each session.

Speed is the single stat that drives everything in Try To Reach The Final Island, the incremental simulator by BeryoBery. It climbs on its own at a set rate every tick, and you need a high enough total to launch your ship to the next island. More speed comes from three places: passive gain, manual clicking, and the free upgrade you pick at each island shop. Reaching farther islands then raises your per-second rate even higher, which is what lets you cross the next, bigger gap.

Quick answer: Raise Speed by letting it tick up passively, tapping the CLICK! prompt for instant boosts, and choosing one free upgrade per island — prioritize “Reduce the gain interval by 0.1 seconds” so ticks fire faster and compound over time.

How Speed is earned

Speed accumulates passively at a fixed rate shown on the HUD, written as a figure like +18/s. That rate feeds a progress bar near the bottom of the screen, which fills toward the amount you need for the next flight. The farther out an island sits, the larger the passive rate you earn there, so every island you reach makes the grind quicker.

On top of the passive tick, a circular CLICK! button appears on the right of the screen. Tapping it grants an instant Speed boost each time it shows, so staying active adds to your total faster than idling alone.

The one free upgrade per island

Every island has a stall marked SHOP that opens the Island item menu. The header reads “CHOOSE ONE PER ISLAND,” and that is the rule: you get a single free pick on each island from three cards. Once you choose, that card shows FREE CHOICE USED, and any further upgrade on the same island costs Robux.

The three free choices are the same type everywhere, though the passive-gain number scales with how far out the island is.

Upgrade cardWhat it does
Increase passive gainAdds a set amount to your per-second rate (for example +5, +6, +7, or +9 Speed/s on later islands)
Reduce the gain interval by 0.1 secondsTicks fire more often, under 1.0 second apart
Increase click gain by 60%Each CLICK! press is worth more

The passive-gain cards stack into your running rate. Picking +6 Speed/s on an island that already carried earlier boosts pushes your HUD total up to figures like +18 Speed/s. On Island 7 the passive card is worth 7 Speed/s; on Island 8 it rises to 9 Speed/s.

Why interval reduction wins long term

Reducing the gain interval shortens the delay between passive ticks to under a full second. Because every tick then arrives sooner, the effect compounds the longer you play, which is why it is worth prioritizing over a flat one-time passive bump on many islands. On Island 8 you can weigh the +9 Speed/s card directly against the interval cut and decide based on how active you plan to be.

Some early islands fit the ship with engine upgrades automatically when you land, so your flight thrust improves even before you touch the shop.

Reach farther islands to raise your rate

Because distant islands grant more Speed per second, the fastest way to grow your rate is simply to keep flying forward. Each flight is handled from the ship parked on the island’s runway.

Walk onto the glowing white pad in the cockpit, marked with a PILOT label, to launch the craft down the runway and into space toward your targeted island.

Hold Shift to engage the boost and accelerate toward the destination. A waypoint tag at the top of the screen names the target and counts down the remaining studs, labelled SHORT, MEDIUM, or LONG DISTANCE. Early hops run a few hundred studs, a run to Island 6 can top 6,000, and the gaps keep scaling from there.
Steer around the drifting rocks when an ASTEROID FIELD APPROACHING warning appears. A blue bubble shield sits over the cockpit, so the field is an obstacle to route around rather than an instant failure.
Land on the destination island’s runway, then press F or E to leave the pilot seat. Walk to that island’s shop stall and take its free upgrade to bump your rate again.

Optional Robux upgrades that speed things up

The game is free to play, and none of the following are required to progress. They mainly cut down on manual clicking and trim travel times, which indirectly lets Speed climb faster while you are away from the keyboard.

Separate purchase pads on each island sell cosmetic and boost items such as the Space Carpet and Thunder God pad, both priced at 100 Robux, and game passes cover Auto Click and Turbo Rings. Turbo rings must be unlocked before the “more rings” option does anything, and sparks need unlocking before the spark shower applies.

Progress carries between sessions

Leaving and rejoining does not send you back to the start. Your island position and ship upgrades save, so you reappear at the latest island you reached with the craft you built. You can confirm it worked by rejoining a server and checking that your current island and ship tier are intact rather than back at the lobby.

That persistence is what makes the climb workable. The farthest zones — a Snow Kingdom, a Lava Kingdom, and an ornate island called Paradise — demand speed totals in the millions per second, with gaps running into millions of studs. You chip away across sessions, and each free upgrade and each new island nudges your passive rate higher until the next flight finally becomes reachable.
