Sell Fries: How to Make Money Fast and Reach Full Automation

The upgrade order, potato priorities, and classes that push your fry shop to the fastest payouts.

The upgrade order, potato priorities, and classes that push your fry shop to the fastest payouts.

Cash in Sell Fries comes from one thing: handing finished fries to customers at the drive-thru window. Everything you buy exists to run that loop faster, from peeling machines to robots that haul potatoes for you. The fastest earners stop touching potatoes by hand as early as possible and spend their time on high-value stock and staying alive at night.

Quick answer: Earn starting cash by peeling gold and diamond potatoes, then buy upgrades in this order — Conveyor ($60), Auto Peeler ($500), Potato Robots ($1,000), Auto Fryer ($6,000), Fries Shooter ($12,000) — so sales run on their own.

The core sale loop that pays your cash

Every payout traces back to four actions you repeat until they are automated. Learn them by hand first, because the early cash to buy machines comes from doing them manually.

Pick up a raw potato from the pile outside the shop. Your character carries it in hand, which confirms the pickup.
Take it to the cutting board and peel it. Stay on the peeling prompt until the peel is fully removed.
Place the peeled potato in the fryer basket, then let it cook until it becomes fries.
Collect the finished fries and hand them to a waiting driver at the window. Cash lands on delivery.

A waiting customer stays for roughly 50 seconds before leaving, so cook bigger batches while their patience is still high rather than serving one order at a time.

Buy upgrades in this order to automate the money

Your income scales as you remove yourself from each stage of the loop. Buy in cost order so every purchase frees you to earn toward the next one. By the time the Fries Shooter is running, potatoes arrive, peel, cook, and sell with almost no input from you.

UpgradeCostWhat it automates
Conveyor$60Rolls potatoes straight indoors
Auto Peeler$500Peels potatoes for you
Potato Robots$1,000Haul potatoes to the conveyor
Auto Fryer$6,000Cooks peeled potatoes
Fries Shooter$12,000Dispenses fries to customers

Start saving for the Auto Peeler as your first real milestone at $500, since hand peeling is the slowest part of the loop. After it, Potato Robots keep the conveyor stocked while you handle sales, and their Speed, Basket, and helper upgrades raise how much they carry. Adding a second robot helper doubles your hauling.

Carrying tools scale the manual side in parallel. The Bucket starts by holding 3 and upgrades up to 7, the Vacuum sucks up 8 at once, and the Golden Vacuum holds 20. Cash Boost in the kitchen shop raises the payout on every sale, so it pays for itself quickly once your sale volume is high.

Bucket$100Holds 3 (upgradable to 7)
Vacuum$1,000Sucks up 8
Golden Vacuum$9,800 (54 Gems)Holds 20

The Flamethrower, offered as a permanent prize on the lobby wheel, burns through potato piles for large instant cash. The street shop also sells a Money Potion for $13,000 that applies a 1.5x cash multiplier — activate it before serving a big batch to stack the boost onto a large sale.

Prioritize gold and diamond potatoes

Regular potatoes pay the base rate. Gold and diamond potatoes turn into fries that sell for much more, so dig through the pile and pull the glowing ones first instead of grabbing whatever is on top. Early on, a handful of diamond and gold peels can fund your first few upgrades far faster than plain stock.

Once the Auto Peeler and robots are running, the high-value potatoes still matter because the machines process whatever reaches the belt. Keeping the pile fed with gold and diamond stock raises the value of every automated sale.

Handle anomalies and survive the night

Night begins around 8 p.m. and runs until 8 a.m. Getting caught outside or serving the wrong customer can cost you fries or your whole run, so protecting progress is part of earning fast. Finish your outdoor potato runs before dark and be inside when the screen starts to glitch.

Strange customers with distorted faces appear at the drive-thru window. Do not serve them. Hit the red Emergency button to drop the metal shutter the instant a dark figure arrives, because a figure that reaches the counter eats your fries.

The other night events each have a fixed response:

  • The screen darkens outdoors after 8 p.m., signaling an anomaly; go indoors and remain there.
  • “RUN INSIDE! Get to the kitchen!” — retreat indoors immediately.
  • “A monster is eating the potatoes!” — run out to scare it off, or torch it with the Flamethrower.
  • “A robot is stuck!” — go to the pile and fix it to resume hauling.
  • “NO POWER!” — Restore electricity by solving the color-matching wire puzzle at the exterior fuse box.

When the power fails, lights and every automated machine stop, which halts your income until you finish the wire puzzle. The “POWER BACK!” message confirms the fix and your machines resume on their own.

Traffic on the street can hit and kill your character, forcing a revive. Watch for passing cars when you run between the shop and the town shop.

Best classes for faster earnings

Visit the Classes station in the hub to spin for classes. A spin costs 25 Gems, but when a free spin is offered, you can watch a roughly 25-second ad instead of spending Gems. Clearing the game earns Gems, and the result is random among seven classes. You cannot choose a particular class.

Head ChefLegendary4.5%+40%
Fry TycoonMythic1.3%+40%
Potato KingDivine0.2%+100%

Potato King is the strongest roll. It doubles your money rate, raises gem earnings by 50%, and starts you with 1,000 Cash, a Vacuum, a Money Potion, and a Cross. Its passive gives the whole team 50% more money and saves a teammate from death once per day, and its ability clears all monsters, revives the team, and triples sales. At a 0.2% drop rate, it is rare to land.

For realistic earnings, choose Fry Cook. Its 10% drop rate makes it attainable; it raises money by 25% and the gem rate by 10%, with starting supplies of 150 Cash, then a Bucket, and finally a Cola. One use finishes every fryer item at once and produces twice the output, while eliminating hot-oil damage. Among stronger rolls, Head Chef and Fry Tycoon each provide 40% more money; Fry Tycoon also adds interest worth 25% of your cash balance every morning.

With the automation chain built, gold and diamond stock flowing to the belt, and a class boosting your rate, your shop sells fries around the clock while you focus on surviving the night. The goal behind all of it is to peel through the pile to find the key hidden in a potato, which unlocks the basement and wins the run.
