Spider Glands come from poison-spitting spiders, and the densest cluster of them sits inside the Hollow Halls dungeon in the Nomad Highlands. One pass through the early corridors leaves you with a stack of glands, and the enemies refill when you step back inside, so the same spot keeps paying out run after run.

Quick answer: Fast travel to the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire, head west into the canyon beneath the cliffs, and enter the Hollow Halls. Kill the spiders in the first rooms, then leave and re-enter to respawn them.

What you need before farming

Spiders only drop Spider Glands in the mid-to-late regions of Embervale. Earlier spiders hand over String and little else, so reaching the Nomad Highlands is the gate here. You also need the matching dungeon key unlocked to open the Hollow Halls door.

  • Access to the Nomad Highlands biome and its Ancient Spire fast travel point.
  • The dungeon key required to enter the Hollow Halls.
  • A melee or magic weapon capable of clearing large groups quickly.

These spiders spit venom. Sidestep or roll through the globules, then close the gap and strike before they scatter.

Reaching the Hollow Halls dungeon

Fast travel to the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire. This is your staging point, and the Hollow Halls sit a short distance to the west and northwest across the terrain.

Travel west into the rocky canyon that runs beneath the mountain cliffs. The dungeon entrance is tucked under the cliffside, so follow the canyon floor rather than looking for anything out in the open.

Step up to the door set into the rock face and enter. The Hollow Halls will only open if you have its key unlocked, so keep one on hand before the trip.

Farming the spider corridors

Everything you need is in the early corridors, before the central chamber. More than 100 spiders fill this cavernous stretch, and the red-tinged ones are the priority. Each kill can drop Spider Gland along with Poison Sack and String.

Push into the first rooms, pull the swarms toward you, and clear them in clusters. Because the density is so high, a full sweep of these corridors yields dozens of glands without ever reaching the middle of the dungeon.

Loot each body as it falls. Larger spiders tend to hand over the biggest single drops, so pop their corpses before moving on to the next cluster.

Resetting the dungeon for repeat runs

Once the corridors are clear, step out of the dungeon and wait a short while. Re-entering respawns the spiders, letting you run the same loop as many times as you need. You know the reset worked when the first rooms are full of spiders again instead of empty.

Almost every Hollow Halls across the Nomad Highlands is packed with spiders, so if one feels crowded with other players or you want variety, another nearby Hollow Halls works just as well.

What Spider Glands are used for

Spider Gland is a common crafting material that stacks high and feeds the Alchemist’s antidote recipes. It pairs with the Poison Sacks and String you pick up on the same run, so a single farming loop stocks you for both crafts.

With the Hollow Halls on your fast-travel rotation, keeping a supply of antidotes topped up becomes a quick side trip rather than a hunt. Clear the corridors, step out, come back, and repeat until your pouch is full.
