Excellent Ectoplasm is an uncommon crafting material in Enshrouded that you make at the Ectoplasm Press. It is a crushed broth of ectoplasm crystals, and the only real hurdle is gathering enough Ectoplasm Crystal from the Kindlewastes Hollow Halls. Once you have the crystals and three easy base materials, a single craft turns them into ten Excellent Ectoplasm.

Ectoplasm Crystal only comes from Hollow enemies inside the Kindlewastes Hollow Halls, and that dungeon is locked behind the Kindlewastes Bone Key, a Level 23 Epic tool that opens its doors. You cannot craft the key until you have cleared the Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls, which unlocks the recipe.
Work through the Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls, then craft the Kindlewastes Bone Key before heading out. Without it, the entrance stays sealed and no farming is possible.

With the key in hand, the crystals are the slowest part of the recipe. Everything in this dungeon is tuned around Level 25, so bring gear suited to that range before you go.
A roughly hour-long sweep through the densely populated Kindlewastes Hollow Halls can net 200 or more Ectoplasm Crystals. With just 10 crystals needed for each batch, clearing only part of the area still goes a long way.
Prepare Fabric and Coal Powder at base
The other two crafted ingredients are quick to produce at home. Torn Cloth you will already have from the dungeon run.
- Fabric is woven at the Loom; you need just 1 per batch.
- Coal Powder is produced at the Grinding Stones; you need 10 per batch.
- Torn Cloth drops frequently from the Hollow Halls enemies, so carry it back with your crystals.
