Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 – Every Dilapidated Prison Collectible Location

The Dilapidated Prison level in Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 holds five collectibles in total. Four of them are counted as Secrets, and one is a Purity Seal. Reaching each one means shooting hidden switches, killing specific enemies, and climbing across crates and pipes, so the routes below are tied to the keys you pick up as you push through the map.

Quick answer: There are 4 Secrets and 1 Purity Seal. Grab the Grenade Boost in the first room, the Secret 2 cache near the Red Door, the Purity Seal in the Purple Key room, the Meltagun beside the Purple Door, and the Machine Spirit just past it.

Secret 1/4 – Grenade Boost

This one sits in the very first room after you enter the prison. Look for the red-lit archway with skull graffiti on the wall.

Walk through the red mist opening and face the barred archway. Shoot the vent switch mechanism visible through the bars.

Press the green button panel on the wall to open the gate. Three Heavy Stubber Cultists will attack, so clear them before moving on.

Jump across the stacked metal crates to reach the glowing green orb. Grabbing it triggers “SECRET DISCOVERED” and the message “You discovered a Grenade Boost!”

Secret 2/4 – cache near the Red Door

Secret 2 depends on an early action you must take the moment you collect the Red Key (marked with the symbol Σ). Miss the switch and the cache stays sealed.

Pick up the Red Key. Straight away, look through the barred grate and shoot the floating red skull switch behind it.

Return to the corridor and activate the key switch terminal. Push through the ambush and the cave tunnel toward the Red Door.

At the Red Door, a side gate that opened when you shot the skull now reveals the hidden item in the alcove beside it.

Purity Seal – Purple Key room

The level’s only Purity Seal opens up in the chamber that holds the Purple Key (Φ). The trigger is tied to two enemies on a lower level.

Enter the Purple Key room and look straight down through the blue floor grates. Two Autogun Cultists stand on the platforms below.

Shoot and kill both cultists through the gratings. Killing the pair opens a hidden door in the adjacent hallway.

Walk down the hall into the newly opened doorway to claim the Purity Seal. The game confirms it with “YOU DISCOVERED A PURITY SEAL!”

Secret 3/4 – Meltagun

Before you unlock the Purple Door, check the hall directly in front of it. The Meltagun is hidden behind the industrial piping along the side wall.

Climb onto the large green pipes beside the wall and follow them across their tops. Lower yourself through the grating into the enclosed shaft to collect the Meltagun. The messages “Meltagun fuel full” and “+1 Meltagun ammo” appear when you pick it up.

Secret 4/4 – Machine Spirit

The last collectible is in the room directly behind the Purple Door, so you need the Purple Key before you can reach it.

Activate the purple key console, then go through the Purple Door into the room beyond.

Jump onto the green crates stacked against the left wall, then leap onto the overhead green horizontal pipe.

Follow the upper grated walkway to the green Machine Spirit orb. Collecting it shows “Machine Spirit. Praise The Omnissiah!” and completes the level’s secrets.

With all four Secrets and the single Purity Seal collected, the level counter reads 4/4 and 1/1 for full completion. Since Secret 2 relies on shooting the skull switch the instant you take the Red Key, that is the one most players skip, so handle it before you move deeper into the prison.
