“A Favor of the Lord of Mount Tai” is an open-world Wandering Tale in the Mount Tai Part 2 set, found in the Qingzhou region of Where Winds Meet. It follows Wen Renqing, an injured man who has climbed the peak to confront the Lord of Mount Tai over a stone he left as a vow. Resolving the tale means finding that stone and bringing the two brothers back together.
Quick answer: Talk to Wen Renqing at Eastern Peak, teleport to Wudafu Pine to get the Blessed Mount Tai Stone from Wen Renzhuo, return it to Wen Renqing, then choose “Let me help you walk there!” to end the tale.
Where the tale starts and what you need
The tale begins at the Eastern Peak landmark on Mount Tai. You can select it directly from the Exploration menu under Mount Tai Part 2 to track it, then use the Qingzhou regional map to teleport to the waypoint. Wen Renqing waits near the outer stone wall just past the town’s fortress archway.
There are no combat requirements or item prerequisites. The whole tale is dialogue and travel between two fast-travel points, Eastern Peak and Wudafu Pine, both in the Qingzhou area.

From Eastern Peak, head southwest through the market street and pass under the fortress archway. You can place a temporary waypoint near the outer archway first to make the route easier to follow.

Just past the archway, take an immediate right to spot Wen Renqing leaning on the exterior stone wall. Speak with him and go through his dialogue, including the choices about his crippled leg and the missing stone, until the clue updates to “Wandering Tales – New Clue Added.”

Starting from the Wudafu Pine spawn point, head northwest and ascend the rocky slope to a grassy clearing dotted with trees and large boulders. At the top, Wen Renzhuo is standing beside a wooden post.
Speak with Wen Renzhuo and listen to his explanation. He took the stone home to pray for his elder brother’s safe return. At the end of the conversation he hands over the Blessed Mount Tai Stone.
Open the map and fast travel back to the Eastern Peak waypoint, then run to Wen Renqing. Choose the “Give” option, select the Blessed Mount Tai Stone from your inventory, and confirm the delivery.
Pick the dialogue prompt “Let me help you walk there!” to start the travel cutscene. The scene moves to the hillside where Wen Renqing confronts his brother and learns how devoted he had been. The tale completes automatically once the exchange ends.
The Blessed Mount Tai Stone is a Wandering Tales quest item, so keep it in your bag and do not discard it between the two trips.
