Aniimo’s second half of Season 1, titled Departure with the Wind: Part 2, is set to arrive with the October 29 update and run through to the December 10 update. The preview lays out a new water region, dozens of fresh creatures, permanent player-versus-player modes, new story quests, and a run of limited-time events. The developer flags that the whole preview is subject to change before it ships.

Quick answer: Part 2 begins with the October 29 update and ends December 9, adding four Whisperwake Isles areas, 51 brand-new Aniimo, season-exclusive creatures, and permanent 1v1 duels alongside Operation: Egg Heist.

Whisperwake Isles: four new areas and three storylines

The update makes the long-teased waters of Whisperwake Isles available. Its four areas are Crescent Bay, Wildwater Gorge, Rosy Mirelands, and Cloudreach Falls, separate from Breezy Plains, the map players have explored until now.

New story content lands alongside the map. Three quest lines are named: A Tale of Tide and Song, Secluded Seas, and Challenge of the Roaring Rapids. A login event, First Visit to the Whisperwake Isles, runs from October 29 to December 9 and rewards players for exploring the new region.

51 new Aniimo and four new Prismana forms

Part 2 brings 32 newly introduced species and 51 fresh Aniimo overall. The preview features four standard Prismana forms: Prismana Whirlbite, Prismana Gachapus, Prismana Jabster, and Prismana Sugartini. Nurture the ecosystem throughout the Whisperwake Isles to attract Prismana Aniimo and draw these forms out.

Vein Abundance Prismana rotation

During Vein Abundance, special Prismana Form Aniimo appear in set locations across the Whisperwake Isles and Breezy Plains for a limited window. The rotation runs weekly from October 30 through December 6.

Season-exclusive Aniimo and how they are obtained

Four creatures are tied to specific systems and date windows. Prismana Hypnyto comes through the Companion Handbook and Prismana Ekrim through Season Achievement, both open for the full Part 2 window. Hoptail and Jaguaraun are available in shorter windows later in the season.

Player @_itosilva created Jaguaraun and won the Strongest Bond Award at the first Aniimo Co-Dev Contest. A second Co-Dev Contest is also planned, though its date has not been announced.

Permanent PvP: 1v1 duels and Operation: Egg Heist

Two player-versus-player modes become permanent features. Real-Time 1v1 Duels pit two players directly against each other, while Operation: Egg Heist is described as a fair-play PvP mode, meaning it is balanced rather than dependent on roster strength. The Egg Heist area runs at level 50.

Limited-time modes: Aniimo Dash and new Holo-Battle Sim stages

Aniimo Dash is an open-world racing mode added for a limited time. The Holo-Battle Sim also expands with new Dark, Earth, and Lightning stages, giving players additional themed combat challenges to clear.

Limited-time events and rewards

Several events become available when Part 2 begins. Night Parade is a themed event with rewards including an Aniipod Ultra, followed by a Tumbler, then Sparkling Crystal, followed by Vein Essence, and lastly an Avatar Frame. Magical Night is a Home event centered on a Pumpkin House theme, featuring two limited crops: Magic Pumpkin and Memoryglow Fruit. A login event and a photo mode event complete the schedule.

Breezy Plains rotation areas: level ranges and collectibles

Two of the Breezy Plains locations named in the Vein Abundance rotation carry full collectible records, which is useful if you plan to farm Prismana spawns there during their windows. Beast Fang Ridge is a mid-game area, while Tideblossom Coast is one of the higher-level zones.

AreaLevel rangeChestsLumin Amber
Beast Fang Ridge30–35629
Tideblossom Coast53–60233

Beast Fang Ridge also holds 3 blooms, 2 bonfires, 3 lumin collections, 2 ecological points, and 9 pathfinder challenges, making it the denser of the two for side content. Tideblossom Coast carries 2 blooms, 1 ecological point, and 2 pathfinder challenges, so there is far less to clear there outside the Prismana hunt itself.

With the full preview mapped out, the pivot point remains October 29. Part 1 content closes out before the maintenance window, and everything above comes online with the update that follows it, carrying through to December 9. The developer’s own caveat still applies: the roster, dates, and features shown may shift before launch.
